Has the Obama campaign thrown Democrats or their supporters overboard?
Seriously, I can't think of anyone. The Clinton campaign tossed Richardson, Kerry, Gore and now MoveOn over, not to mention the DNC.

Has the Obama campaign done the same thing and I'm just not seeing it?

He has a lot more self discipline than I do, that's for sure.

5. No. That's why I'm happy I'm supporting him.
Obama is not out to make political enemies when he can help it. He's out to do make America a better country than it's been for the past 12 years {perhaps even further back}.

He promised to campaign with hope, not fear and now we see just how wide a net that "hope" he's mentioned, really is.

It extends to fellow Democratic voters, politicians, Republican colleagues and Independent and Republican voters as well.

16. Bullshit, he never threw gays overboard
Some foolish queens climbed overboard because he made nice
with somebody they didn't like but that was your own doing.

I am as gay as gay gets and I've never once bought
into the crap some of you slung around DU.

20. I'm not happy with him or with Clinton on civil rights. They both suck.
And it make me mad to see how little the gay community and us supporters have to settle for.

21. Gays, baby boomers, blue collar workers
he describes as "bitter," and women describe just a few he has thrown overboard.

It amuses me when his supporters dismiss anyone who is "old." The elderly are a reliable voting block. And many of those over 35 are the people who have been holding the Democratic Party together during these last seven, discouraging years. If those people stay home, be afraid.

No matter who wins, most of the Obama people will fade back into the woodwork when this election is over. They won't stay around past the celebration or the tears. The rest of us will clean up the headquarters and pack up the literature. We will be back month after month to build on what we have or to start over from scratch.

It's astonishing how thoroughly his words have been twisted -- and not by PA voters.

Well done.

And your strange sense of who we are also doesn't comport with reality.

17. I very happily throw the DLC overboard,
but I'm certainly not a representative of Obama's campaign - and I've never heard him say a word against them, other than 'no thank you'.
