The News analysts are saying Hillary is expected to win by 10 points

and if she wins by less than that, then Obama will have momentum. If she wins by more than that Hillary will have momentum.

I have heard two news analysts say this now. So, a 10 point win for Hillary or basically she loses momentum.

44. Obama wouldn't take the VP slot. Hillary needs Obama, but Obama doesn't need Hillary..........
the truth is the truth. IF Hillary were to win the nomination, she has to pick Obama as her VP, the question is; would he accept? If he's smart, and we all know he is, he wouldn't accept. There's nothing for him to gain as VP. He knows the real VP would be Bill and whomever Hillary were to choose would be pushed to the back of the bus unless it is someone who completely agrees with her.

But a 10-point variance after predicting to the decimal point? That's a hedge!

2. No - they're moving the goalposts - lessening expectations. The expectation is 20 points...
.... Anything less than that is an Obama net win.

35. The media are disgusting...
"Conventional wisdom" = Whatever they decide it is. To win the delegate count, she needs to win by 80%, starting Tuesday. Good luck with that.

Obama is now 1 to 5% behind. How can losing by 9% give Obama momentum?

12. Exactly, so that means that NOW Obama has momentum
We can't selectively choose a point in time that will determine who has "momentum" or not.

What if Clinton wins by 15%? Does it mean that Obama gets momentum because he was down 20% at the time you cited?

7. IMO, the media elites and HRC are attempting to SUPPRESS the vote in PA. Stand Strong!
This is bunk.

We MUST continue to support and encourage the Obama folks organizing "on the ground" in PA.

Don't let Tweety's bullshit about PA be taken as the gospel. That pseudo-journalist is often wrong.

We've got your back - Obama Supporter and organizer in PA. :hi:

Yes. We. Can. PA! :patriot:

9. I still think Obama can keep it within 5 but likely under 10.
This train trip has revealed support and I think he can narrow it down to 5!

Under 10 is fine tho. heck even 12-15 is sort of ok as Clinton was expected to win by 20.

Just have to wait and see I guess! Looking forward to the Harrisburg Rally for Obama!!

38. Calm down O supporters! He's only 211 pledged delegates away
from having the majority of them. Hillary can't stop him from reaching that milestone. Once he's got that he's essentially won and the SDs will come over to him in droves. PA is just a little bump on the road. :dem:

In Nov 07, she OWNED the presidency and was THIRTY-THREE points ahead of Obama.. She should be humiliated enough by now :)

Edited on Sat Apr-19-08 07:58 PM by Buzz Clik
65% might be enough to keep her in the race until she loses in NC, and then she's done.

Here are yesterday's poll numbers.

65% is not possible even in the wildest extrapolation.

26. The polls are all over the place so IMO it's a crapshoot.
Polling has been privatized and politicized and thus no longer reliably reliable. She had a monster lead at the beginning of the year. We'll see how much of a dent he put in that. Oh, throw in the electronic voting machines and anything could happen. Oy.

30. She has no momentum. And 10 points will be meaningless.
She needs 15 point or more to make even the slightest scratch in the delegate lead. Keep in mind that she's about to get cleaned in North Carolina, and Indiana is likely to be very close.

The clock is ticking.

36. Ten points ain't enough.
Hell, 20 points ain't enough to save Hillary's campaign.

I'm hoping Obama pulls off a victory, but yeah, Pennsylvania is tough - lots of Archie Bunkers in that state.

Still, plan for the worst, and hope for the best. And the worst case scenario just isn't very bad for Obama this late in the game.

Enjoy the victory, fellow Obamaites. Even if we lose, enjoy the victory.

42. go to the link and find the clip "Clinton turns up the heat"
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3096434/

They quote the campaign saying it is down to 3-4 points and hoped to retain that - it also shows a woman telling her she felt sorry for her because of Bills affair.
