Please tell us all what it is about her that makes you think she's:

a) a viable candidate?

b) a decent and honest human being?

1. Wow, Look at McCain's hand.
I'm always shocked when I hear his age but that picture of his hand reminds me vividly how old he is. Crypt keeper old. Older than God's parents old. Whew.

5. Like rice paper
Like typing paper, that really thin onion sheet stuff (you'd have to be of a certain age to remember that, LOL).

Hillary's hand, hate to say it, isn't too far behind. SUNSCREEN, PEOPLE, SUNSCREEN! Your hands show your age FIRST!

Especially when he stands next to his wife. At least Nancy Reagan was nearly as old as Ronnie. How old is McCain's wife anyway? I'll bet she's 30 years younger than him.

But only because an ABC reporter happened to be wounded in the same manner. Had it just been the troops, the whore media probably would have ignored that, as they do most of the ugly truth about that occupation.

Wonder what the guy must be thinking, sitting next to two of the people who caused his condition? :evilfrown:

40. Those poor vets are going to be dealing with their injuries
the rest of their lives. And I know people get upset when someone says they died or were injured in vain, but it's true. When you go to war for no justifiable reason, it is most certainly in vain. That's not a reflection on the troops, it's a reflection on the war.

"He has never been the president, but he will put forth his lifetime of experience."

"I think that I have a lifetime of experience that I will bring to the White House. I know Senator McCain has a lifetime of experience to the White House. And Senator Obama has a speech he gave in 2002."

"I think it’s imperative that each of us be able to demonstrate we can cross the commander-in-chief threshold. I believe that I’ve done that. Certainly, Sen. McCain has done that and you’ll have to ask Sen. Obama with respect to his candidacy."

"He is a distinguished man with a great history of service to our country...Both of us will be on that stage having crossed that threshold."

..who have pledged to vote McCain or abstain if Obama wins the nod?

I didn't say she was pledging to support him over Obama, Mensa. Your straw man has no stuffing.

Here's a question, though: Why is Hillary seemingly bent on poisoning the well for Obama, if she isn't hoping that McCain will defeat him in the GE, giving her more traction as a potential Dem nominee in 2012 than she would have against Obama-as-a-sitting-incumbent? Ever thought about it?

She's lost. She knows it. But she's waging a scorched earth Rovian campaign until the whistle blows. You do the math, Pally.

P.S.: Obama doesn't golf with 41. Guess who does?

Clue: Check out the guy on the left in your last photo...the one seemingly fiddling with his zipper.

My my, you're really aren't sure what you're trying to say at this point, are you Barrymores Ghost?

And your follow-up question is also mute.

There's no evidence that she's "seemingly" bent on poisoning Obama.

Even someone like you, who holds a dangerous blind allegiance policy in relation to Obama, knows there's no proof of that.

It's why you felt the need to throw in the word "seemingly."

P.S. You sound like a Republican with your zipper comment. But then again, maybe you preferred the person Obama doesn't golf with over President Clinton.

Hey. It's a free country.

53. Read TPM or the HuffingtonPost sometime, Slappy...
You're the only one who somehow deciphered my saying that Hillary's public chatting up of McCain's "experience" over Obama's was an official endorsement of Grampy. Most other people, including myself, see it for what it is: cheap attempts at demeaning her most immediate rival -- completely at the expense of the PARTY that brought her to the dance in the first place.

How positively...Clintonian.

She's got nothing left but the politics of personal destruction, and even THAT's coming back to biting her in the ass at every turn.

There's no evidence in your mind of anything that Hillary Clinton has done to damage her own image or the party's chances. That much is clear. Talk about blind allegiance. If your blinkers were any thicker, you could use them as potholders.

And the reach of logic you had to make to somehow try to insinuate that, because I think that Hillary is waging a destructive campaign with her husband's help, with the ultimate benefit going more toward the GOP, that I somehow think Bush Sr. is a great guy is beyond comprehension. Did you pull that out of someplace other than the darkest recesses of your ass?

Don't bother responding. You'll be ignored anyway.

Just like the Black Knight in Monty Python & The Holy Grail, you are.

I'm sorry, but you've not even remotely tried to refute a single point that I've made, nor countered a single refutation I've made of your comments. But, please, do show me where it was that I was schooled by you, so I can print out the lesson and study it for future reference.

Funny thing is, you and I probably would discover that we agree upon a lot more than you might imagine. But you are simply going to have to give up your delusions of anonymous cyber-grandeur if we're going to have a conversation.

Oh, and please be sure to pass this thread's link along to all of your fellow Hillary acolytes, so you can do your little victory shuffle for their amusement, as well.

63. Except for you, of course.
My repugnant vocabulary in that post notwithstanding, and as aware as I am of its overshadowing effect on the point that I was rather flailingly and quite rudely attempting to make, my question remains: Do Clinton supporters not seem just a tad hypocritcal to hold Obama up as a token when it could just as easily be argued, employing that self-same logic, that neither Clinton nor Ferraro would ever have been on a ticket, or close to it, were it not for the novelty of their gender?

I'd like to presume that they are all people of considerable substance. I just find Hillary's campaign tactics to be cheap, Rovian and -- if you believe polls and public outcry -- counter-intuitive.

Cheers.

72. Hillary will make an excellent President. What was the context of this event...looks like some s
sort of ceremony with a wide variety of people in attendance....and they're being respectful of something like the anthem being played.....behaving exactly as you'd expect leaders to do. bho says he'd make changes and reach across the aisle....HILLARY's already done that.
