Rasmussen daily graph for 4/20/08 - Obama up 1 (46), Clinton down 1 (42)
So maybe there's no weekend data/modeling problem, after all. Or if there was, Rasmussen has corrected for it.

(Pretend that the 10 and 20 lines are actually 0. Does anyone know how to make Excel label different parts of the axis differently?)

6. Gallup, Gallup, Gallup ...
I wanna be able to say that Gallup shows Obama surging back into the lead.

Apparently, a tiny movement, within the margin of error, is a surge when Clinton moves up. And a similarly statistically insignificant downward movement for Obama in this poll equals dropping like a stone.

We're very dramatic, on DU!

7. Gallup: O 47, C 45 Hah!

Obama surges back into the lead! Clinton dropping like a stone! Yee hah!

Or: Minor fluctuations due to statistical noise, so far not meaningful for either candidate. You pick the more exciting title.
