Poll question: Has the behavior of a candidate's supporters here altered your view of that candidate for the better
Edited on Sun Apr-20-08 12:25 PM by Sparkly
That's the question:
Has the behavior of a candidate's supporters on DU altered your view of that candidate for the better?

(Edit: "Behavior" can mean anything you wish, in terms of what they post, including factual or non-factual information, opinions, etc.)

(Edit again: I'm not asking for characterizations or judgments about people who might find their views -- thoughts, feelings -- altered by a candidate's supporters.)

1. I have had to form my opinions away from "supporters", because
they are out of balance and, quite frankly, in many cases a major turn off.

3. I agree with you.
Some supporters are way out of line, and to decide on a candidate, or against a candidate, simply on how their supporters act is wrong. I made my choice for Obama, after Edwards left the race, on him, his plans, and his stand on the issues, not on anything else.

7. Unable to think of anything clever to say, so you'll just have to settle for this:

The best liar is he who makes the smallest amount of lying go the longest way. Samuel Butler

2. I'm sorry, but you are an idiot if you let an internet forum sway your opinion of a candidate.

4. My opinions are based on the candidates themselves. It is silly to let supporters on
the Internet effect how you view the candidates. We certainly have seen them enough of the candidates themselves to establish our views based on that.

8. I decided on whom to support
only after looking at records and listening to their speeches as well as what they stood for.

The things I read on here and elsewhere on the internet just confirms that I chose the one closest to my values.
