Okay, my lovely and (BUSY daughter who is preparing to get her Master's from Drexel on May 5th) took time from her thesis to go across the road to the Wynnewood Station to take pictures for us DUers. She said it was a very warm spring day, there were tons of people, and Barack was TRULY amazing.

1. Great shots less than a half-mile from my home...

giant, enthusiastic crowd. You who live elsewhere cannot believe the change in the Main Line in the 28 years I've lived out here. Just amazing.

When I moved to Bala Cynwyd and voted in the Primary election in 1980, I voted at 7 PM, polls closed at 8, and I was the 11th voter versus about 280+ in the Rethug column. The poll people sneered at me...

Wow, it sure was RED out there then. By the time I left PA in 2000, Chester County was purple. :D

Maybe soon it might be blue? (Well, one can hope!)

6. Seeing that many people near that train makes me so happy.

The train trip was the best idea I have ever heard in recent political campaigns! It brings SO much credit to the passenger rail system that maybe we can save it and restore its greatness one day.

We got other countries with trains that can go at insane speeds across the nation. Why can't we have it here?

15. She was breathless when she called me from the event

waiting for his train to come in. She said it was so cool to see him in person. She's already voted Obama absentee (she has to work on Tuesday with foster kids at clinic)

between Fort Worth and Dallas. That would have been sooo kewl. I could have seen him at two locations near me.
