"Kitchen sink," "slash-and-burn," "throwing the dishes..."
I wonder how many more cute phrases Barack Obama will use to vilify Hillary Clinton's campaign?

If that's the case I wonder, then, what terms should Clinton use to describe Barack Obama's campaign? I suppose they're supposed to be: "Sunshine and Rainbows," "The My Little Pony Campaign," or perhaps he's only throwing "moondust and starlight?"

All the while, David Axelrod has been the Gargamel of the Whisper Campaign. Quite effective, if you ask me. A spin doctor par excellence.

All of this is a little too rich for my blood at the moment. I'm going to go outside and get high on life for a while.

originally came from a Clinton staffer who said it "un-named of course" to a reporter.

Now who's cute?

48. Correct - Clinton's campaign used it first.
That pretty much nullifies the argument in the OP.

Read the Political Brain. Obama knows what network he is activiting by such rhetoric
It is sexist the same way the Playboy ad with Harold Ford was racist. Both Corker and Obama know what the response from the targeted groups will be.

13. Eh
This is just my opinion, which is probably biased since I support Obama...but if the situation had been reversed and Obama had yelled "Meet me in Ohio!", I think many would have perceived that as sexist towards Hillary. Or if Clinton had gone bowling and Obama made fun of it, (even though that was her little "April Fools day joke"), that would be perceived as sexist. Likewise I think that some of the racism charges are exaggerated (I think that Bill Clinton wasn't really referring to race when he made that stupid "stealing cars" reference, and I didn't even particularly think that the GOP-er who said "that boy doesn't need his hand on the button" was racist. Just stupid comments). I remember when Rick Lazio "invading Hillary's personal space" was perceived as sexist. Likewise, I call bullshit on the china reference being sexist, but that is just my own biased opinion.

21. Wow and a smurf reference too.
But you've already been pointed to the plain fact that the clinton campaign itself came up with the term 'kitchen sink strategy' to describe what they started to do after the defeat on super-duper-tuesday. Bill's surrogate attack on Obama this weekend is that he is a 'whiner', which fits right in with Imus's claim that Obama is a 'pussy'. Axelrod is supposed to be a spin doctor, that's his job.

The subliminal message, to somebody who's survived child abuse, is quite clear. Hillary may justify her abusive behavior, and rationalize it in various ways, but it's still abusive, whether it comes from Obama's mouth, or, more often, her own.

61. For the love of God, could you just ONCE try posting something that isn't arrant nonsense?
The depths of your intellectual dishonhesty are amazing; it was Hillary Clinton who referred to it as the 'kitchen sink' strategy. So Obama can't use her own description against her?

And, tell me...has Obama endorsed John McCain as 'having passed the Commander-in-Cchief threshold', and said Hillary hasn't? Has he called Hillary 'unelectable'? Because she's said both of those things with respect to Obama. And when employed against another Democrat, who is far more likely to win the nomination, those ARE 'slash and burn', scorched-earth tactics.

I'm reminded of what Harry Truman said: 'I never give them hell; I just tell the truth and they think it's hell.' This seems to neatly summarise the disconnect from reality that many of Senator Clinton's supporters and the candidate herself exhibit when confronted with unpleasant yet self-evident truths.
