I'm tired of being played

Even if one doesn't allow the nonstop propaganda to infiltrate ones thoughts and beliefs, it does get tiresome after a time.

I feel as though those who are in "power" think of the rest of us as if we are easily manipulated children. Sure, some are, but many, if not most, are most definitely not.

We are tired of being lied to. Tired of being talked to as though we will believe anything so long as one mentions in the speech "the flag" or "terrorists" or "whatever crap they are peddling this week".

Have you ever been in a relationship in which you felt something was just not quite right, wanted to believe, and ended up discovering that the object of your affection was stealing you blind and making love to others while sleeping in your bed? That is how I feel about this country.

We have plastic wrap around our minds now. We have to rip it off. We have to see the basic truths.

I am tired of the lies.

1. The fact that you are here and thinking about these things

separates you from the average American, who is watching reality TV right now. Those are the people who consume propaganda and make their decisions based on what gets blasted through. Sad but true I believe.
