1. I remember watching Race to the White House,

and a viewer wrote in saying "If the Democrats can't win this year...will they ever be able to win again?" Joe Scarborough started his asshole laugh and said "Don't be so overdramatic, this is the best year for Democrats EVER!". To his credit, Eugene Robinson was laughing too, but he just said "It's going to be ok." to the viewer. Meanwhile, Rachel Maddow looked like she was going to cry, and then spoke up and said "Well, it was a depressing thing when John Kerry lost in 2004, because the Democrats thought 'hey, we have a genuine war hero this time'. It was a sad day on Air America the next day, and everyone kept saying...War hero...DUI male cheerleader. War hero...DUI male cheerleader."
