Obama now running TV ads in North Carolina

Hubby and I were flipping stations last night, after watching the end of the John Adams series.
We were amazed to see an ad for Obama come on. I was so flabbergasted, that I can't even tell you
the content.

We live in Chapel Hill; the ad was on Time Warner cable for the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill/Cary (Triangle)
area.

I wonder if this is indicative of his feeling about PA going to Hillary? Or maybe he is so flush with cash
he wants to assert a presence here in NC.

I told hubby this a.m. that I am still really pissed our Chair of the Dem party deliberately left
John Edwards off the primary ballot; there is no space for write-ins in the primary, nor would they count.
Right now, I'm leaning towards leaving the choice for Pres blank; I'm disgusted with both Hillary and Obama.

2. It's called preparing contingency plans. It's what good leaders do

bad leaders do like Hillary did and assume everthing will be wrapped up on Super Tuesday (and have nothing prepared if it wasn't).

5. Yes, we have early voting now; the primary is May 6th. It's so late that

it's never mattered in previous elections.

He has to spend it, so it makes sense to run ads in NC (and IN) since PA is pretty much saturated anyway.

This is one of the benefits of great fundraising...you can afford to campaign for races that are still a couple of weeks away.

On Thom's show. Barbara Roberts, a well-loved former Oregon gov, has a lot of kind words for him in the ad.

11. It is part of the 50-state strategy. He also has ads running in IN and OR.

He has the money, so he can afford to extend the campaign to these additional states.

12. There are both TV and radio ads here in Oregon already. The radio

ad I heard this morning was an endorsement by our first and so far, only female governor, Barbara Roberts. This is a huge endorsement in this state.
