Dare you believe this dance could end on Wednesday?
If Obama wins tomorrow, I don't think there will be goal posts for Hillary to dig up anymore.

Even with her pedal to the metal, hell bent on a convention floor fight this summer in Denver; if Obama pulls off a surprise win tomorrow - the Super Delegates will pull the plug on Hillary's campaign in short order.

Damn the polls, we call bullshit on them as fast as the corporate media can spin em, yet when I read something like this:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=5600932&mesg_id=5600932

I hope.

I hope for an end to this protracted slog through the mud.

I hope for time to heal, rest, forgive, and unite as a party.

Dare I hope Obama wins tomorrow?

Yes!

peace~:)

2. I'm trying not to get my hopes up
I don't want to see them dashed with a 20-point win for Clinton.

4. The story about election fraud has me worried...
I'm not putting it past Rendell and all of the other pro-Clinton PA people to steal votes. Clinton has run a very Republican-style campaign since Super Tuesday and really since around South Carolina.

8. I'm hoping, too...
This can't go on much longer. We need to get a candidate and get moving. I've got taped to the wall above my computer:

It's the Supreme Court, Stupid!

There are many important issues this election, but that is perhaps the most important for me. We can't put anymore neo-cons on the SCOTUS.

I will say though, that despite the outcome tomorrow, Bill Clinton will make/would have made a most-excellent first "First Gentleman."

12. I think she'll say PA was no longer a decision
once Obama was using 3 to her 1 in ads, and all his money used in the state. As it is now they'll say with all his money he should have won by more and this is an electability issue for him in the GE.

13. She needs to win by 20+ otherwise it's all over
She'll win, but not by the margin she would need to make a rational case that she could still somehow win the nomination.

But then again this zombie campaign of hers is not about "rational", is it? It's probably not even about winning, but inflicting neurotic vengeance- just listen to the motivation of her remaining supporters.

...Perhaps you haven't heard? She's "entitled" to the presidency.

15. I say it will end on Wednesday no matter what.
First option - Obama cleans house and Hill has no other recourse but to resign with dignity.

Second option - Hill 'wins' by a percent or two and continues to drag the American public through the sewer that has been this Democratic primary. If she continues to campaign it is over for the Dems. I see her giving the power back to the media, who will in turn finish Obama off. I have been in this from the beginning and find myself exhausted by the rhetoric. I can't imagine the average American dealing with this much longer.

Hillary = * = no change for the course of this country

Unfortunately, if we get option two there is no place to go to avoid the horrible fallout. Who is safe from the Clinton * cabal?

16. I would like for that to be the case
but I think that she will win the PA primary handily.

Unfortunately, expectations for her have been so lowered, that even if she wins by as little as 5%, they will claim it a major victory and say that she has "momentum."

17. Wednesday they'll be working Indiana.
If you thought PA was nasty just wait until you see Indiana. It's going to be a blood bath. Hillary will have even more pressure on her to make a substantial win and she has even less money to work with. She'll be using every trick in the book to get her face before the public for as little money as possible. One good way to do that is to dredge up issues about your opponent which then get you news time.

Gawd, if not tomorrow - maybe May 6 will knock down her house of cards.

20. Anything can happen. But I expect her to win by 20 points.
That was the estimate for PA before the Clinton campaign started spinning her "likely numbers" lower and lower. Hey, if I'm wrong and she gets less than that, I'll have a happy Tuesday night.

21. I'll assume Obama loses PA, but not as big as expected and not enough for a big HRC gain
and with HRC going all crazy kitchen sink at the last minute, Obama will have plenty to work with going into IN and NC, where he should put it out of reach for good. Never mind the fact that she's going deeper in the financial red going nuclear on him in PA.

22. If Clinton doesn't win by 10+ points, she's toast.
That's my hope anyways, that we can finally drive a wooden stake through the heart of her campaign, then we can all turn our attention to McCain's many weaknesses, we can work on bringing the war to the headlines again, and we can work to win in November and bring our eight-year national nightmare to an end!

24. I hope for the best, but am prepared for Hillary to insist on going on...
She feels she is entitled to the presidency, and she, therefore, will go on.

I fear that she will end up being like a piece of toiletpaper stuck to our shoe: something that is embarassing to have, but removing it is equally as embarassing.
