Hillary Attracts a Much Smaller Crowd than Expected at Rally

HILLARY Clinton brought her message for change to Happy Valley last night, attracting a smaller-than-expected crowd to Rec Hall.

She urged those in attendance to ask themselves: “Who would I hire to do the toughest job in the world?”

Her visit served to end a huge Blue/White weekend in Happy Valley, as fans lucked out with perfect weather on Saturday and 73,000 of them flocked to Beaver Stadium for the scrimmage.

Politics and football mixed in the parking lots, and perhaps many were talking about Hillary Clinton's visit the next day.

The surprise was the turnout, only 1,500 at a place where former President Bill Clinton drew an overflowing crowd just weeks ago.

Whatever the cause, it raised eyebrows as Pennsylvanians prepare for Election Day tomorrow http://www.centredaily.com/news/breaking_news/story/538280.html

1. Hillary fatigue.
Her speeches are so uninspiring anyways.

4. Meanwhile, Obama will have more than 12,000 packed into the rafters at Pitt's
Petersen Events Center tonight.

...and probably another couple thousand outside who can't get in.

AND... Pitt's semester ended last week.... so the students are gone... making tonight's crowd even more impressive.

7. The voters would rather go to a local sporting event
than to see her.

11. He also had an overflow of 2600 at a local highschool
More than 2,600 people packed the Reading High School gym today as it reverberated with screams of, "Yes, we can! Yes we can!" That was followed by loud chants, "O-bam-a! O-bam-a," as the faithful supporters of Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama urged him on for Tuesday's Primary.

6. So that means that many went to Bill's speech just to see the former President.
This is bad news for the Clinton Campaign. Obama can draw much more than that on whistlestops in small towns.

8. I would go see Bill Clinton speak and not Hillary
if that tells you anything. I've seen 5 presidents speak, even Nixon, who I hated at the time.
