http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/04/21/clinton-uses-pearl-harbor-bin-laden-images-in-new-ad/(CNN) — With only one day left until voters in Pennsylvania head to the polls, Hillary Clinton launched a television ad there that includes images from the attacks on Pearl Harbor, the Cuban Missile Crisis, and Osama Bin Laden.
"It’s the toughest job in the world," a narrator states in the 30-second spot. "You need to be ready for anything – especially now, with two wars, oil prices skyrocketing, and an economy in crisis.

In a conference call with reporters, Clinton strategist Geoff Garin characterized the new spot as a positive one.
“Unlike Senator Obama's closing argument which has really been negative, and an assault on Senator Clinton…we wanted to bring this choice back to what's really important here, which is the critical issues facing our country and the need for a president who has the strength and the knowledge to take on the tough challenges facing our country," he said.
Obama's campaign responded to the ad by circulating an image of a 1992 Clinton-Gore campaign poster that states, "Vote your hopes, not your fears."
