5. Depends. If he tapes the show in a few hours he will have time to have gotten the words before
Many talk show hosts spends hours before any show just cruising the net finding things to talk about. KO is likely doing the same thing.

3. Huffington has it too...
I always like to point out the Clinton's campaign's hypocrisy, I also don't really want to piss off Rendell before the primary. Though I do have a few Jewish friends who dislike Obama for the supposed "Farakhan" connection he has. Ugh. Democrats suck.

8. Here's the Huffington piece:
Ed Rendell, Clinton Surrogate, Passionately Praised Farrakhan In 1997

April 21, 2008 01:28 PM

At last Tuesday's Democratic debate, Sen. Hillary Clinton drew out her objections to Sen. Barack Obama's relationship with his former pastor Reverend Jeremiah Wright, saying that what troubled her was not just Wright's incendiary language, but his past praise for Louis Farrakhan, the controversial head of the Nation of Islam.

"It is clear that, as leaders, we have a choice who we associate with and who we apparently give some kind of seal of approval to," said Clinton. "And I think that it wasn't only the specific remarks but some of the relationships with Reverend Farrakhan, with giving the church bulletin over to the leader of Hamas, to put a message in."

But if an association to Farrakhan troubles Clinton, she may need to focus her attention and criticisms on one of her most prominent Pennsylvania supporters.

In April 1997, Ed Rendell -- then the mayor of Philadelphia and currently the governor of Pennsylvania and a major Clinton surrogate -- delivered a passion-filled speech lauding the work of Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam.

13. The thing I've learned this go round, is that the Clintons have often attacked
their adversaries on the bases of things for which the Clintons and their surrogates themselves are guilty.

It's all sort of juvenile. The sort of thing most of us abandoned back in 1st or 2nd grade.

It's repulsive to see in an adult, but the news media puts on spreadss about it and the country eats it up.

It's a variation on a well-known Rovian tactic. Rove advises
candidates to attack their opponents specifically on their strengths. Thus in the 2004 presidential race we had an AWOL chickenhawk attacking a bona fide war hero as an unpatriotic coward. In another race we had a triple amputee Vietnam War vet (Max Cleland) being attacked by yet another chickenhawk as an unpatriotic coward with terrorist sympathies.

14. I'm glad this is getting some play, but will be shocked if she's asked
about it on Countdown or Larry King.

If nothing else, I hope some of the talking bobble heads point out her hypocrisy, but I won't hold my breath on that one either.
