Rendell/Farrakhan spreading.. hits CNN 360 blog!
http://ac360.blogs.cnn.com/2008/04/21/why-is-gov-rendell-so-silent-today-about-louis-farrakhan/

Why is Gov. Rendell so silent today about Louis Farrakhan?

...

In the ABC debate, Sen. Hillary Clinton again brought up Rev. Wright’s association with Farrakhan. Trust me, it wasn’t positive. And in the previous debate with Obama on MSNBC, she called on him to repudiate and denounce Farrakhan¹s unsolicited praise of the junior senator from Illinois.

A lot of folks have commented on the issue, but one person who has been real quiet has been Gov. Ed Rendell.

Maybe that’s because as mayor of Philadelphia, Rendell, who is Jewish, had some really wonderful things to say about Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam.

You can hear his words for yourself by clicking here: <links in article to Rendell video>
...

How soon until it hits one of the televised broadcasts? Any bets? Clinton might have a fun time ahead of her on her media tour tonight.

1. By Hillary's "6 degrees of separation" rule, I guess she's guilty now too
Or does that rule only apply to Obama? :eyes:

and reject Governor Rendell for his obviously very close ties to ...what is Farrakhan..a terrorist..or just an American hater?

11. I detested Sen. Clinton's attempt to smear Sen. Obama at their last debate
by insinuating that Rev. Wright is anti-American and thus Sen. Obama's character must also be called into question! In practically one breath, she tried to paint Sen. Obama as sympathetic to radical terrorists and <gasp> Black Muslims!

Most African Americans do not have much time for Minister Farakhan but do appreciate the efforts the N.O.I. has made to get drugs out of black communities.

2. I wonder if Larry will ask her.
But I won't hold my breath.

You know, I might not really give a crap about this any other time, but it is so hypocritical to me.

10. I'm interested in this only on terms of fairness
Obviously I'd prefer for none of this kind of garbage to be newsworthy, but if it's good for the goose then it's good for the gander. Or I guess in this case, the opposite.
