Shit, most of 'em talk English anyway. They just don't like to admit it. If you just yell loud enough, and maybe build comraderie by taking the time to remind them that we saved their sorry asses from the Ratzis in Dubbleyuh Dubbleyeh Too, they eventually come around and bring you your order just the way you like it. Anyway, that's the advice I gave my kid before she went on vacation to Japan last year.
