Joe Scarborough accuses Pat Buchanan of "paying activists to burn down the Dem Conv. in '68"
Edited on Mon Apr-21-08 06:41 PM by KoKo01
just now on David Gregory's show on MSNBC... They all laughed at that...but how much of that might really be the truth? Pat was carrying on like a "man with a mission" that DEMS "will lose in November if they don't do Obama/Hillary and he said that McCain is not the candidate that folks can get excited about..(paraphrase for Pat's comments about McCain).

That show was fascinating to watch...because I almost got the feeling that in their "Dark Hearts" they were rooting for the Democrats. (but, then, I'm a person who sees good in the heart of evil all the time and is always disappointed). I always wondered when the Repugs would see what Bush/Cheney has done to us...and would want a "breather" to regroup their evil cabal to come back "en force" after four years where they own the media and can trash another Dem Administration...so I take what Buchanan and Scarborough say with a "grain of salt."

There's NO WAY these Repugs want a Dem elected with a LOUD, VOCAL DEM ACTIVIST BASE who wan't the Bush Crime Family Prosecuted for War Crimes and Crimes agains Humanity and the American People. So, they will act like serpents to beguile us while pitting one Dem against the other...like suggesting that Obama would take Hillary as VP and that Hillary would even think about such a thing. :wtf:

3. I sort of though Scarborough was "punch drunk" putting it out there...
as the rest of the panel chuckled over it. :eyes:

I wondered at Scarborough going after Buchanan...and what that means. Are Repugs "fighting amongst their own?" Joe and Pat on opposite sides?

It's probably all about increasing their "pay contracts" up for renewal on MSNBC. Buchanan is seen as the "old guy" and Scarborough "the new." It seems this election is not only about Race and Gender but Ageism , too that translates down to who get's the BIG BUCKS CONTRACT from the CABLES to be PUNDIT WHORE ANNOINTED. Right Now it's between Maddow and Robinson with Scarborough as the THIRD to replace Buchanan as the REPUG in CHIEF..

Gotta be dirty out their with those pundits and their "Warring AGENTS" trying to do the best for their Client. :-( I don't have much pity, though.. with thousands laid off and Millions of Working Folks down the tubes with mortgages, student loans, gas pump rip offs and the rest....

2. As a political activist in the 72 election
I was approached by the RNC to protest against Nixon
with a silk screening contract as pay.

6. SDS in the 60's was Infiltrated...and they were Youthful Activists who were trying to make Change...
so ...it is what it is. They do it to any activist they perceive is "against the system."

4. Caught that. "Paid those Hippies." Both Pat and Joe are clearly sweating & miserable about Obama.
Obama was never supposed to get this far. It's Clinton they wanted McCain up against. They see the White House going to the Dems in the Fall. They are NOT-- NOT-- happy tonight.

Great Point... Although...I would say he's had some great media promotion...but still...they didn't think he'd get this far.
