We vote for people our age. They referred to some study showing this. Which was when Joy said (not an exact quote but close) "young people are voting for Obama, older people are voting for Clinton, and dead people are voting for McCain".

:spray:

See here's the funny thing... I was laughing at the "dead people voting for McCain" line which did not make Elizabeth happy. And you guys use the first part of it as a prop to continue your war. Go figure.

1. Well, then! I guess I'm younger than I thought.
I turn 70 in a couple months and I'm voting for Barack Obama and I have a lot of friends and family who will do the same.

So much for that theory.

3. I guess an 88 year old woman doesn't count either
I know of a lady of this grand age and yes, she voted for Obama too. So much for that theory is right!!

4. I'm 59 and I voted for Obama........
there are older people who vote for Obama.....

Rather than saying younger people vote for Obama, I think it's more accurate to say people who get their news from the internet have a tendency to vote for Obama.

6. It was just a joke
The first part is the setup like saying:

A horse walks into a bar...

Just a joke setup. The dead part is the punchline, like:

The bartender says 'Why the long face?'

It wasn't a political theory on voting habits. Just a joke.

7. I know. I thought it was funny (McCain only) so I thought I'd post it here.
I had no idea that people would use it as a tool to attack another democrat.
