She just said something about the superdelegates watching the race to step in if Hillary keeps going to break-his-kneecaps-land.

5. I did, too.
We were still living in MO when she ran against Talent and I did some volunteer work for her campaign. Stayed up on election night and watched her come from behind around midnight as the city votes finally rolled in to and beat Talent's weaselly little butt. 'Twas a thing of beauty.

6. All part of the keeping-expectations-low game
I've entered my five different guesses on today's results on about five different *official* threads. I figure I'm bound to be close to right on one of 'em so that's the one I'll cite to show my astounding prescience. :D

9. Found the exact quote. It just cracked me up
She quickly added that "the more negative Clinton gets," the more it will spur Democratic party leaders into action to try to end the race. "If this begins drifting off into 'let's go after his kneecaps land', and really hurt him permanently for November, I think you're going to see some of the party elders, more importantly a lot of these superdelegates go, 'wait a minute, this isn't what we signed up for,'" McCaskill said.

11. When "bittergate" was in full blown mode, Evan Bayh kept defending Obama at Hillary Rallies.
Every time they attended rallies together, she would go into "he condescending, he's out of touch, he's elitist." Bayh would follow up afterward with, Well, I don't agree with her on that, but the republicans will use this. He's hoping for a veep spot, but he won't drag Obama down like that.
