Hillary Supporters Hold A Vigil For Their Candidate
I kid you not. Hillary supporters are holding an online candlelight vigil for their candidate. They must realize that her candidacy is on life support and it is getting close to the time to pull the plug and try again in 2016.

http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/candles.cfm?l=eng&gi=hrc

May her 2008 campaign RIP.

We all know it, Forkboy...we all know it.

Personally, I think it's a small group of folks (and not anywhere near the majority) who are voting for a characteristic of Hillary (that characteristic shall go unnamed) as they think no other candidate in their lifetime will possess that characteristic. All of her other characteristics be damned save that one vital (and superfluous characteristic.)

Ironically, the truly scary also have taken to truly believing that all opposition to Hillary means people being "anti" that characteristic.

...I can't help but put myself in their position and consider how badly I would feel if Obama was in Hillary's position, and had done the unethical and bad strategical maneuvers she has pulled.

Of course, I wouldn't be an Obama supporter if he had done what Hillary has done.

But, still, I do feel compassion for them.

14. I've been waiting for somebody to pick on this for the last couple days
They call Obama supporters koolaid drinkers, a cult, and a whole bunch of other things. I know, some of the supporters can be overzealous. I've never seen it personally, but it's within the realm of possibility.

But to hear those insults from people who are collectively lighting candles and praying at certain times in order to magnify her strength? Are you freaking kidding me? That is out of control.

That is seriously something that I would expect out of the most rabid true-believers of the Bush crowd. The idea that these people are essentially praying to Hillary is scary.

I'm fearful for what these people are going to do when Obama wins.

I tend to think that Clinton supporters don't believe that mess either, anymore than Clinton believes McCain would make a better President than Obama.

They just manufacture these silly innuendos to get a reaction. I don't think it is inherently bad to pray for a candidate. But that is just my own personal opinion because I, myself, pray for the candidate that I support (who happens to be Barack Obama).
