Extended Family in Pennsylvania Change Their Voter Registrations to Vote for Hillary Today...
and they will re-register back as loyal Republicans and vote for John McCain in November.

A long time customer of mine who lives in central Pennsylvania "clued me in" this morning on what his die-hard Republican family had all done two months ago. He, his wife, his three children and their spouses had all changed their registrations to vote for Hillary to stop Obama. They all intend to re-register back to the GOP and love John McCain.

He also told me that his neighbors and many at his "church" had all done the same.

I guess that Rush Limbaugh's had more effect than many of us want to believe.

This guy has been a customer of mine for years. He was telling me straight.

I think Obama will lose by over 10 points and I hate to say it, but this call this morning has left me dizzy.

30. Nowhere in the article does it give the breakdown of rethugs to indi.
Edited on Tue Apr-22-08 04:12 PM by yourguide
I would suggest you coming in less than a half is probably inaccurate since mccain is such a favorite amongst independents.

For once I agree with you. The vast majority of new democrats are new registrations and independents who switched.

However, be careful what you wish for because they'll vote for McCain in November putting Pennsylvania in the GOP column.

Happy now?

Seriously I want to see what can be done to have Rush investigated for influencing the elections of another party.

Once Obama gets in it needs to happen because the republicans have been setting the pace here and it needs to stop.

and then creams McCain that these people will be crucifying Limbaugh and putting guns in their mouth (figuratively speaking for your family, of course David) after consciously participating in putting another Clinton in the White House.

http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/tim-graham/2008/03/26/rush-limbaugh-urging-republicans-commit-felony

This is from his site: yesterday's transcript:

But I remind you, you brave volunteers in Operation Chaos: This fight was not about anybody running or losing. It was about more chaos than less chaos. We wanted more chaos. The longer the chaos goes on, the more chaotic the chaos gets, and we want chaotic chaos. We want chaotic chaos to continue to be chaotic. We want ongoing chaos, regardless when this ends. When that happens, it's all the more reason to say that we have triumphed. So as the outcome becomes more and more obvious, I ask you to remember these words. Remember the Alamo. Remember Masada. Remember the 300! Tomorrow we face the battle of Pennsylvania. We can win. We shall win. We must win. A win is defined as Mrs. Clinton continuing. We will win.

22. In most elections years this wouldn't happen.
It can happen this year because the Reps chose their nominee already.
Hillary won't get the nom but it energizes the Reps to think they can influence our elections. Disgusting.

33. I don't believe any of this nonsense from either camp.
Regardless of anecdotal evidence, I really doubt that an organized crossover vote in a closed primary state will have any measurable effect.
