ed rendell on msnbc lowering the bar.
defending FL results. saying the fact that obama didn't want a revote means that they accept the results.
saying the money difference means that if hill wins by 6% it is a substantial victory.

9. Chuck Todd is now saying we can expect between a 2 - 16 net gain in delegates for Hillary.
That's it.

17. 16? That may be a 15 point win once you factor in disproportionate allocation that is pro-Obama

21. That's the high end. Take the middle value - 10 delegates.
Yay for her! Now...can she quit already.

26. Hope

http://www.mydd.com/story/2008/3/4/18735/88678

Vermont: Obama 67, Clinton 33
Ohio: Obama 51, Clinton 49
Texas: Obama 51, Clinton 49
Rhode Island: Clinton 49, Obama 49

She did 12 points better than the exits showed in Ohio, 6 points better in Ohio, 18 points in Rhode Island, and 14 points better in Vermont. If this happens again she is heading for a double digit win!

She damn well better win by double-digits to have a non-laughable talking point to work with.

25. Remember, we're talking net gain in delegates...not vote margin.
So, at best she will finish the night still 155ish PDs in the hole.

11. Not this time.
Nope. Hill was favored to win by 20 points not too long ago. PA is Clinton country. Tailor-made for her. If she takes a 20-point lead and turns it into a 6% victory, what will she do with a small, or essential tie starting out in the GE? She has big leads early and squanders them. G'night, Hill. Party's ovah. :hi:

19. Fattah won the proxy war with Nutter over the black vote 92-8
Perhaps that is why he is happy. It is a measure of revenge for losing the mayor's office to Nutter.

it's the most delegates that wins. and anybody who tries to turn it in to anything else is a cry baby.

to any side on a daily basis if they want....right up to the pledge at the Convention.

You forgot that lawyers developed the DNC Rules.:smoke:

22. No, the bar is real: ask Mike Huckabee
who won quite a few primaries against McCain (with no money by the way), but had no mathematical way to win the nomination.

Though the Republican (mostly) winner-take-all game is different, the same applies here: without a major blowout game-changing event, or a total Obama meltdown, "winning" a state means little. It doesn't change the nomination game.
