Obama will WIN Pennsylvania tonight. The MSM is invested in the race continuing. They might want Obama to win in the end, but for now, they are raking in $$$ by keeping the race alive. They are hoping that the working class voters who would vote for Clinton are going to the polls now will turn around, thinking that Clinton has it in the bag.

But she doesn't.

Wait.

Put on a pot of coffee, slip into those comfy sweatpants with the holes in them, and get ready for a wild ride, because this won't be over until LATE.

3. Or
It could be like the Texas win, where he technically won more delegates but everyone said she won.

(That's what happened, right?)

15. Texas was because of the caucuses that night.
They didn't have the second part of our primaries counted until later. Pennsylvania doesn't have that.

Edited on Tue Apr-22-08 08:12 PM by Zhade
This might look, to someone as delusional as her, like she's getting a second chance - she isn't, but would she admit that?

11. He already pulled it out.
He was aiming to close to single digits here all along. He clearly did. The lower that single digit number, the deeper the slice across the Clinton campaign hamstring.

But it's very unlikely that he'll actually take the state. It would have been nice, but he never needed it.

31. If you ignore that he was down to 4-6 two months ago. Obamites forget that
Obama simply can't win the Reagan Democrats. Therefore he can't win the GE.

Not moving when you are outspent by someone who spends $11 million on television alone is damn good.

Edited on Tue Apr-22-08 08:12 PM by gcomeau
...do you really think anyone here actually buys this stuff when you post it, or has it just become some kind of reflex action for you?

I mean, it's not like everyone here has been immersed in the race for months and knows with 100% certainty what the expectations for PA have always been and that Obama's goal was always to close to single digits to cripple Clinton's ability to gain any ground in delegates then blow her out in NC and totally erase anything she accomplished here...

Oh wait, yes we have... and yes we do all know that.

So, who are you talking to?

And I think you're all going to be surprised when Obama wins tonight. If he doesn't, it's because it was stolen in the black precincts.

34. Relax dude. Obama has been behind the whole time and he will not win.
Most Obama supporters already knew this. The big story will be if it's in single digits (Obama's camp has already been setting this up as their goal coming from so far behind) and how the press reports it.

will the outcome change?

If so, how many Obama supporters will join me in hefting up 10 or 12 cold pints.

If getting crocked would somehow change the numbers, I'd drink so much it would make my Irish ancestors blush!

Cheers!
