Including FL and Michigan, Hillary only trails by 9 delegates
After Penn, she will be ahead of Obama in delegates, including those two states. My bet is that both states will end up seated. http://noquarterusa.net/blog/2008/04/21/superdelegates-pick-a-winner/

You may return to your regularly scheduled "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH fest" now.

DU is like the Bush whitehouse sometimes
All the Obamabots only hear what they want to hear (since 98% of DU is Obama supporters). Thus, they end up sitting in the echo bubble, insulated from reality.

The stages Kubler-Ross identified are:

Denial (this isn't happening to me!)

Anger (why is this happening to me?)

Bargaining (I promise I'll be a better person if...)

Depression (I don't care anymore)

Acceptance (I'm ready for whatever comes)

What a sad commentary on the Clinton campaign. If only EVERYTHING were different, they might have a chance. Except that the Obama campaign would have adjusted their tactics accordingly. Seems like his campaign has kicked her ass as is. No wonder she and her supporters want to change the rules now. Just like a bratty, spoiled elementary school child.

54. and if 10 million extra voters voted for hillary
she would have 10 million extra votes. In other words, this line of reasoning is completely faulty because both Florida and Michigan Primaries are completely illegitimate by the process established by the Party and agreed to by all candidates beforehand. To change the rules after the process is started in order to favour one candidate over another, especially when their illegitimacy no doubt had an impact in their function, is completely unethical and should be rebuked by all members of the party.

60. FALSE and MISLEADING (proof below)
Edited on Tue Apr-22-08 08:57 PM by FlyingSquirrel
OMG a false statement from a Hillary supporter who's usually on my ignore list? What a shocker.

Obama 1483 236 1719
Clinton 1431 270 1701
Edwards 31 -- 31
Uncomm. 55 -- 55
Remaining 566 343 909

http://demconwatch.blogspot.com/

In other words, she's behind by 18, but only if you ignore the 55 "Uncommitted" delegates in MI. Since the only way MI could possibly be counted (as she was the only one on the ballot and it was declared unconstitutional) would be to give Obama all 55 Uncommitted delegates, the statement that she's behind by only 9 is clearly not true.

If at first you don't succeed try, and try, and try, and try, and try...

What's next on this list? "Elitist", "Race", "Rezko", "Ayers", "Flag Pin", "Reverend Wright", "Gender-card"?

72. That's BS. The total MI and FL delegates for Hillary would be 178 and for Obama 122
Assuming that Obama gets the uncommitted delegates.

Current pledged delegate count: Hillary 1250 Obama 1416

Add MI and FL
Hillary 1428 Obama 1538

Add PA by 10 pt for Hillary:
Hillary 87 Obama 71

Hillary 1515 Obama 1609

Obama + 94

But then again, MI and FL don't count.

78. She signed a pledge. You can read it here:
This is a direct and unequivocable violation of her pledge to the DNC and Democratic voters.  She signed a pledge not to campaign OR PARTICIPATE.  Here's the relevant section of the pledge (pdf):

THEREFORE, I (Hillary Clinton), Democratic Candidate for President, in honor and in accordance with DNC rules, pledge to actively campaign in the pre-approved early states Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire and South Carolina. I pledge I shall not campaign or participate in any election contest occurring in any state not already authorized by the DNC to take place in the DNC approved pre-window (any date prior to February 5, 2008).

By her own admission, she has broken her pledge.

Hillary's word: It's worth nothing

Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008

COURTING VOTERS in Iowa and New Hampshire, last August Sen. Hillary Clinton signed a pledge not to "campaign or participate" in the Michigan or Florida Democratic primaries. She participated in both primaries and is campaigning in Florida. Which proves, again, that Hillary Clinton is a liar.

Clinton kept her name on the Michigan ballot when others removed theirs, she campaigned this past weekend in Florida, and she is pushing to seat Michigan and Florida delegates at the Democratic National Convention. The party stripped those states of delegates as punishment for moving up their primary dates.

81. Those states won't decide the outcome.
They can be seated without deciding the outcome. Understand that. They were ruled unconstitutional.

(cause you really are smarter than that). So try again and use states that actually are included because they followed the rules...and stop being so silly. :silly:

87. If you count the straw poll at the annual Rodham Family Reunion
Hillary gains no additonal delegates but is +27 in the popular
vote.
