47. Yes, and we do it because both matter equally.
If you don't give money to progressive campaigns and allow Republicans to continue to dominate U.S. politics, you'll have to donate far more to charity as there will be many, many more poor people who will need your help.

Progressive policies significantly improve the lives of poor people. Charity - as fine and worthy as it is - merely maintains their subsistence.

65. The economy cannot be that bad if Obama raised $40 million in March
alone (Clinton raised $20 million and she is in the hole).

I think that all the candidates, of both parties, raised more than $500 million and I, too, wondered what could have been done with all that money.

On the other hand, Iowa is relying on all these millions every four years to shore up its budget.

46. It isn't just money
It's going to take Obama getting into the mud and duking it out with the Clintons. He needs to put her away for good and if it means damaging her, so be it. She has no qualms about playing hardball even if it destroys his chances as nominee, and so neither should he.

I doubt he will descend into the cesspit, but I hope he does.

He has got more money and more time.

No need to get into the Mud. The multiple clinton gates alone will cause her great losses in Indiana and North Carolina.

56. You're right, of course
But count me as one of the "bitter" people who are sick and tired of Clinton and McCain getting away with using lies and innuendos to smear Obama. I'd love nothing more than to see him stick the dagger in (politically speaking OF COURSE!) and finish off her campaign. After that bit of practice, he'd be ready to do the same to Commander McSame.

Indiana is already in play and North Carolina is a BIG Obama firewall.

So come May 6th Clintons warchest will be empty again while Obama is putting work downstream.

So yes these donations are good! They are not going into the toilet defending one state.
