Question about donation threads.
Edited on Wed Apr-23-08 11:32 AM by ronnykmarshall
I noticed three threads (mine included) from Hillary supporters saying donated to her where flamed by Obama supporters.

What's the logic in that Obama peeps? Do you think that shitting on someone's thread makes YOU look any better than those you feel should be "shamed" and attacked?

And if you just want to repeat the same lines from those threads over and over, don't bother posting.

If you can't provide some logical responses, do as Miss Dionne says "Walk on By".

1. Do you think "shitting" on someone's political party
makes you look any better?

The reality is that over 200 DUers see the NEED for Hillary to end it. By donating, you are encouraging the continued destruction of the Democratic party.

Had Hillary run a respectful and honorable campaign, that helped rather than hurt the party, no one would be calling for her to drop out. However, she didn't and her actions are hurting the Dem's chances in November

as for a double digit loss, that is only in your head. She lost her 20+% lead and limped out of PA with a single digit margin of victory.

41. So? This is not ObamaUndergound. Yet
It is none of your business where DUers and other Democrats choose to send their money.

I think that it is pathetic that people continue to send money to Obama after he over spent Hillary 2 to 1, at least, in PA.

42. Make that over 500 DUers, the election is all of our business
it's not your private affair. If you do something that damages the party's chances, like encouraging Hillary to stay in the race by sending her money, it's not a private act (at least once you announce it to all your fellow Democrats).

7. I really do think her supporters are being duped
At least some of them. She can't win unless the supers give it to her, and if the supers are going to give it to her, then she doesn't need any money to campaign. They just need to do it and get it over with. It's a fraud being perpetuated right now, and I don't like it.

in calling out any large group of people because of the words said by a member. I believe that those people that take such glee in their use of derisive, caustic, abusive, and demeaning language, and in propagating lies are responsible for their own words. This primary season has shown what a pathetic bunch of human beings we all are, because we all participate to some degree in awaiting the annihilation of another human being based on personal perceptions. I am as guilty of anyone in participating in discussions involving some of the most disgusting sentiments a human being can exhibit. Mirrors are everywhere.

The only way I'd ever comment on a Clinton donation thread is if the OP says nasty things about Obama to inspire donations. Otherwise we have our own donation threads...no point in pissing on yours, IMO.

And only sometimes in the Obama ones.

1. I don't really care if you do/don't donate.
2. It's an anonymous message board.
3. There's no way to know for sure if anyone that says they donated really did.
Which brings us back to 1. I don't really care.

:)

There was one Clinton supporter that was out of line. There were two that said they were sending their money to Clinton and they got dumped on. I agree that they should stay out of such threads but saying that HRC people "slimed" yours is really a bit of an embellishment.
