Hillary Clinton the Prize Fighter
Everytime one tries to knock this woman down, she keeps standing back up. I have never seen anything so personally inspiring. She simply will not permit premature calls for her to drop out to slow her down. The fact that she rises each morning, meets voters, debates expertly and speaks to crowds, shows a type of grit that I want to have in my next president. And she does it all with a smile on her face, not with a scowl or a nose in the air.

If she's willing to fight this hard to get into office, I can't see how she wouldn't fight this hard for health care, for job growth, for renewable energy industries, and for making this nation a better place. And I'll bet she'll fight the Republican scum who slimed her and her husband for fifteen years.

AND SHE WILL BRING OUR TROOPS HOME!

I caucused for Clinton back on Feb. 5th, and regardless of the shape of this election, I have never once doubted my decision. I believe in this candidate and I believe in the future of our party.

She's the one.

2. Where was all that fight when we needed her to vote "no" as to the invasion of Iraq?
She isnt always willing to roll up her sleeves and fight for what is right-on the most important issue of my lifetime, she folded and supported a war based on lies.

She fights hardest when she thinks there is a political or personal gain for her- when it comes to taking a chance to do the right thing, forget it.

You must then by way of de-engineering see Barack & Michelle Obama as...noble. Really? You've got to be kidding.

6. good
In the past few weeks she's been blamed by the Obama Camp (posing as bloggers) of causing the Iraq War, Nafta, outsourcing/economic woes, welfare reform, etc. Give them enough time, she'll be accused of causing the Holocaust. It's good to see her standing tall.

9. That's why referees stop fights
Edited on Wed Apr-23-08 12:02 PM by nichomachus
Sometimes, one fighter is brain-damaged and doesn't realize he's already lost. For the good of the person and the good of the sport, someone has to step in and stop the fight.

14. You do understand, that when one fighter skirts the center of the ring that it is not a fight...
I seen that Little Rascal's episode where one of them just runs around the ring and will not engage. That's not a fight that will fit your snap allegory.

10. The boxer's record is 14-30...not exactly a "prize fighter"...
If a boxer had a 14-30 record, he or she would be fighting in some roach-infested gambling casino off the service road in Shitsville, Texas.

29. And Obama would be a laughing stock
For blowing one eagerly anticipated title fight after another, after waltzing to easy lower echelon wins when all the conditions favored him.

BTW, a couple of weeks ago a major boxing poster here said he was keeping an eye on Pennsylvania, in a thread emphasizing the math of the race. I responded that mathematics were indeed the variable in Pennsylvania, and they damn sure didn't boost Obama.

What was that term, limited knowledge?

11. Thank you, lovely post!!!!!
If you had been in PA these past few weeks you would have seen how much enthusiasm, respect and even love this woman engenders in her supporters. People came from all over the country to volunteer. I was surprised by the extent of commitment of these people. I went over from NJ, but 40 people flew in from TX, some came from FL with crates of oranges to hand out while they canvassed. We had super delegates phone banking, one of them was a lady from KS and Bill had personally called her to help out. We had a physician who came from TX and placed his practice on hold for a week. We had others who came from CA, CO, MI, CT, MA, NV, AR and bus loads traveled from NY and NJ.

It was so great to be in such a positive atmosphere, working hard to help elect our candidate and not watching the MSM nor going to negative boards like this one.

We won and we won well, there was a lot of celebrating last night in PA!!!!!!!

:hi:

32. Easy to do when corpmedia MANUFACTURES the idea that she COULD win as they lied to her voters
for over two months.

Matthews admitted they did this last night.

Clinton is not being noble and brave - she's doing her JOB for BushInc who now needs to depend on a McCain win to continue their secrecy and privilege into the next decade, as Hillary would have done - Just like Bill did for Poppy throughout the 90s.

47. Hillary the Sparring Partner
Fighting a preliminary match with someone going into the title fight tomorrow and loading her gloves with concrete in the hopes someone will let her go in his place when there's no chance of it happening.

A little more accurate, IMO. "Fighting hard" is only a good thing in the proper situation, and when you know who and how you're actually supposed to be fighting.
