Two Numbers Out of Penn: 1720 and 1590
Total Delegates - 1720 to 1590
Super Delegates (out of 795) - 235 259
Pledged Delegates (out of 2845) - 1485 1331

Would you like another pillow, Hillary? Now matter how you spin your underperformance as a great victory, the math becomes more and more clear by the day.

An important qulaity in a commander-in-chief is understanding the difference between a battle and a war. And the war of 2024 is one you cannot win. You can only burn down the village to cut off the food supplies of the Democratic Party (did this historical metaphor get too elaborate?).

1. So nobody has 2025 delegates yet, right?
On to the next race, then.

3. True, although we would save a lot of time, money and effort if Hillary dropped out now
After all, she is effectively eliminated at this point. There is no way she will win the 70% she needs to in every remaining state. If she dropped out now it would allow everyone to focus on beating McCain in November, which after all should be the goal of all Democrats. Too bad if it hurts Hillary's feelings, but that's the reality of the situation.

5. Off-Thread:
Dr Funkenstein, I have to tell you that "Spirited Away" is probably my favorite movie of any kind, and it makes me happy to see Chihiro's picture.
