When will John McCain announce his VP?
Edited on Thu Apr-24-08 08:07 PM by aaroh
When will John McCain announce his VP? Is he like waiting for the Dems to announce first so he can figure out the best combination to counter-attack?

1. When he needs some good press.
He's probably saving it until the press are no long busy with the Democratic slugfest.

4. He will probably announce after the dems pick a candidate
because when the dems have a candidate the candidate will most like get a big boost in the polls, McCain will announce afterwards to try to counter the boost in the polls the democratic candidate is likely to receive.

7. It will be Mitt I believe. He looked all smirky last week on the TV.
Just a guess. He denied it. But he looked like a man who thought he had a future.

8. Either until the Dems really have a candidate or all the primaries are done
As in, if neither candidate has conceded then by June 3rd after the last primaries and it goes to Denver then the Repugnants will take advantage of this and try to make summer all about McShame

11. He will ask Joe Lieberman or perhaps Hillary to join him on the ticket
The 3 amigos all share a compulsive desire to nuke Iran, Gaza, or any other country that crosses them.

12. At the Repug convention
and not a day earlier.

Makes sense to me.

Why would any candidate (Democratic or Repug) tell the stupid (sarcasm) American public anything the PEOPLE really want to know?

Us peons don't count for anything to these power hungry candidates and they will never give us any hint as to what they are really thinking until convention time.

13. certainly not before the Democrats have settled on a candidate
For a variety of reasons it doesn't make sense for him to name some one while the news regarding the campaign is dominated by the Obama/Clinton slugfest.
