Hill & Bill, Fer Fuggssakes, It's TIME TO GO.
Edited on Fri Apr-25-08 01:41 AM by Barrymores Ghost
Please understand, I had a lot of respect for you both at one time in my life. I've met you both, campaigned for you both, and we've shared encouraging words.

I also have had my hopes and expectations of each of you dashed -- no, crushed. Crushed by promises never delivered upon, and dragged down the low roads you've taken to achieve your own selfish ends and to fuel your own egos.

It is time for you both to kindly fade away into the sunset.

Because you seem to feel like you OWN the Democratic Party and have a birthright to drive its direction, and yet you both are drunk with power behind the wheel.

Because you have proven that neither of you has anything left to offer but an legacy of continued bitter division and a landscape of ego-driven scorched earth.

Because it is time for new blood, new ideas, and new hope for a better America -- and a changed tomorrow.

For the love of all that is sacred and ethical and good for America, would you both just please go away and let our nation -- our beloved America -- move forward?

PLEASE. I'm begging you.

7. When I stopped to think that some of these young voters have only known...
...the names of "Bush" or "Clinton," it shook me to my core.

Two names, and a country divided and a Constitution in smoldering ruins.

Two names, and a coddling of corporate interests and a selling out of purported ideals that will take generations to undo, if it can EVER be achieved.

I used to think that I didn't need to pinch my nose, that a Democrat was all that mattered in '08 -- and then I look at what Hillary has done and I hear what she has been willing to say, just to get the nomination, and I feel violently ILL.

I can't find any clever way to end this thought. It is what it is.

I am K&Ring, because the Clintons have hurt themselves, and the Party enough already.

8. Someone must be sitting back watching, enjoying their destruction.
Including all those out to get em in the 90's.

While they happily destroy themselves, others are sacrificed.

Like a small town drunk at closing, she refuses to leave the bar.

31. I don't think this is destructive.
The rethugs will hit our candidate much harder than this. A little toughening up is called for. We can already see the smear machine starting up. Get ready, you ain't seen nothin' yet. Take a deep breath and get prepared.

28. Problem is it's not just the Clintons, it's Begala, Carville, McAuliffe,
and a whole host of others whose values will be zero in an Obama administration, so as desperate as the Clintons may be personally, those surrounding and advising them are even more desperately trying to cling onto relevance.

27. For Fucks sake, Obama has to go
Hillary has won the nomination. In a fucked up unconstitutional democratic voting system, Hillary should be ahead of Obama. The will of the people have spoken. Hillary won the popular vote in places like Tx, NV, etc but yet lost the delegate count. How fucked up is that? If the tables were turned and we followed the Republican voting model and you win the delegates because you win the popular vote Hillary would be ahead of Obama. And, if the Republicans followed the Democratic model, Romney would be ahead of McCain. How in fucks sake can anyone justify winning a popular vote in a state but still lose the state? The will of the people have spoken and Hillary has won. Time for Obama to step down.

30. When every state has had their chance to weigh in on the nominee.
It is the media that is keeping the bull stuff spinning. Let everyone vote, then we can talk. Next time we shouldn't start so early and drag the primaries out so long, everyone is getting tired. Money is being wasted that could be used in the general election.
