Why I support Obama and not Hillary, in a nutshell:
Edited on Fri Apr-25-08 12:15 PM by Labors of Hercules
Michigan was not a fair and democratic primary election and Hillary has tried repeatedly to argue that it was.

Her win in Pennsylvania did not exceed 10% and she has repeatedly called it a "double digit win".

She walked calmly with her DAUGHTER on that tarmac in Bosnia and said REPEATEDLY that she was under sniper fire... So which is it Hill? Are you a liar or just a bad mother who put your own daughter in harms way?

I could list hundreds of exaggerations, misrepresentations and downright lies that Hillary Clinton has said throughout this campaign. She has proven that she will make any argument she can, whether factual or not.

I don't want a President who has no sense of honesty. I don't want a President who doesn't uphold or value fairness in this democracy.

We need a President who shows integrity, speaks the truth, and maintains a clear vision of what this democracy should be. In short, We need Barack Obama.

2. She is starting to sound like Putin on the Michigan vote issue.
Sad but true.

She claimed yesterday that the uncommitted votes should be hers. That would be theft.

The Obama campaign refused to sign on.

18. Thanks for the link, It seems to from before the MI re-vote was scuttled ...
... if I read it right, the article was written when the DNC had come to an agreement with Michigan and they were waiting for the Obama's agreement. Obviously the MI re-vote has not happened yet but this article doesn't say what Obama's response was.

Has Obama actually turned it down?

Is it still up in the air?

Is Obama running out the clock?

Has he made a statement about not finding the agreement acceptable?

21. I'm not ignoring your questions, but...
...I have been offline and don't have time now to follow up until tomorrow. Bottom line for now: Clinton signed off on the plan the DNC accepted (assuming both campaigns did) and Obama didn't.

16. Michngan is a primary state
Edited on Fri Apr-25-08 01:41 PM by Tom Rinaldo
Primaries are more inclusive of voters.

No surprise to me with Obama's initial preference. Part of Obama's consideration was to freeze the popular vote totals with Obama still in front, by wiping out the earlier Michigan primary totals and replacing them with low caucus numbers. The initial argument he gave in favor of a caucus was premised on Michigan not being able to afford a second Primary. That problem was solved.

19. Money was still a barrier then
Michigan never preferred a Caucus, but they did not want to be disenfranchised.

5. You're right. As Dems we should be able to tell proper elections from shams....
... and I'd say the same thing about FL. A proper election doesn't start with the announcement that the votes won't count anyway. People stay home when they're told that.

7. Rendell, McCullfe, and more supporters
try to sneak Michigan in as a "win" every time the camera is on them. That's how desperate they are, to try and count an "election" where she was the only candidate on the ballot. It's Castro/Communist/Russia tactics and the media, by and large, has failed to question and call them out on it.

What if he's in a nutshell, but Hillary isn't - who do you support then and vice-versa?
