1. They've certainly been anti-Obama.
I'm not sure that's the same thing as swaying towards the Clintons.

13. I quite agree
The media has been bashing both Clintons (both when deserved and not) pretty
much steadily since 1993. They seem to do it out of habit. Besides, they know
who their major advertisers are, and they vote Republican. They may report the
polls about Bush's low numbers, but you hardly hear a peep of reporting (unless
your name is Paul Krugman or Helen Thomas) as to what has caused those low numbers.

They are now giving the same free ride to John McCain. Money talks, but money also
makes you shut up if that's what your major advertisers want you to do. If McCain
starts to babble incoherently and starts to recite Mother Goose rhymes during a press
conference, CNN's Bill Schneider will be on the air immediately saying that McCain's
answers were "inconclusive."

7. WITHOUT a reason! He didn't do BADLY in Pennsylvania!
Poor Rachel Maddow was pushing this FACT yesterday on MSNBC: Obama
actually DID BETTER with some of HRC's constituencies in PA than
he did in Ohio, yet the media is painting this as "defeat." They're
attacking him for this "failure," dissecting how it occurred, what
he can do to change it, etc., when in REALITY, his trends are moving
in the RIGHT DIRECTION.

It's sickening to see millionaires Tweety, Scabrous, Buchanan, et
al. creating this "reality" favoring their fellow millionaire/REAL
elitist HRC, at the expense of the TRUTH.

9. I saw that part yesterday. I hate how they keep dismissing Rachel's points
Every time she mentioned that Obama had shown a remarkable improvement in several segments in Pennsylvania either Buchanon or Scarburough would try to drown her out.

I finally turned it off, as its obvious the show was only designed to bash Obama.

6. The media is swaying towards the media

Look at what a growth industry the Democratic Primary is for the Media. Count the number of new shows that have sprung up to cover this little marathon dancing contest. Do you think David Gregory wants to have them pull the plug on his sparkly new show? What about Tweety or Abrams or Wolf? And what about all those paid political analysts lining up for a payday and their 15 minutes of media fame. It is in their best interest to keep things going just as they are. These talking heads don't report the news - shit they are too busy manufacturing it.

Hillary is just the flavor of the week.

8. Since PA, things have changed, yes
That is why winning PA with her margin was very important.

Obama is under heavy scrutiny now, but most of it has nothing to do with the "trivial scandals" which Obama supporters believed plagued the ABC debate. It has to do with a recognition of substantive political missteps and inadequacies. Obama is looking very beatable now, and his stump speech has lost some luster. He is not appealing to a winning democratic constituency.

He will win NC and "should" win IN, but he is one more blunder away from total implosion. The psychology of the race, if that occurs, will be devastating for Obama. That, more than anything, is why Hillary will not get out of the race. Even if she loses IN, she has blowouts over Obama in KY and WV and PR.

which at this time means being pro-Hillary.

12. I agree. They love McCain and Chris Matthews admitted that in his book.
McCain has gotten much more of a free ride than either of our candidates.

their ratings stay up, their earnings stay high, their egos get fed,
as long as people tune in to see the drama.

Its not news, its manufactured entertainment and deception.

16. I gotta tell ya
I'm for Obama now. And I'm pretty disgusted with Hillary Clinton in a lot of ways. But I'm not a big fan of the gratuitous Clinton bashing. Billary? C'mon guys. Aren't we better off if we keep it a bit more civil?

One of the things I like about Obama is that he takes the high road. It appears that we (we being people who now support Obama) are going to win this thing, right? So wouldn't it behoove us to win with class?

If there's an error in my thinking, please point it out. Maybe some will say this thing ain't over and we need to fight the Clinton machine, etc. And I can honor that. But do we need to go negative? Who's to say that we shouldn't continue the classy style that Barack has shown all along?

I'm just askin'.

17. it has gone back and forth...
the media does not want this to end and they are doing what they can to prolong the primary.

Also, as an Obama supporter I would like to say that there is no need to call Clinton "Billary" as it only adds to the negativity and divisions we need to get past.
