Operation Chaos indeed- more Indies and Republicans voting has allowed Obama to close the gap on Hillary from the last poll.

3. Ok. Hillary already leads IN by five points.
But Obama has an insurmountable lead in PDs, overall delegates, and likely overall popular vote.

Why are the media hos spinning this state as a "must win" for Obama?

4. Obama is winning more groups that he won't win in the general to inflate his lead.

He keeps losing Democratic support. Which is why we won't win in the general if Obama is the nominee.

7. He'll get a lot of that Dem support back when they start to remember
Edited on Fri Apr-25-08 05:02 PM by Alhena
that we are one Supreme Court justice away from overturning Roe v. Wade, that McCain means 4 more years of Iraq War, etc. Right now, it's still personal with Hillary supporters, but that will fade.

Even some of the blue collar racists (not saying they are all racist, of course) will support him out of self-interest when they consider that McCain's policies favor the wealthy.

11. Hillary has NO chance at this point - she'd lose too much support if the SDs give her the nom...
She's in a lose/lose situation - at this point, the MOST loyal voters for the Democrats are the African-American voters, and if the candidate that they've overwhelmingly supported has the pledged delegate lead, and then the bigwig party insiders ignore that and give Hillary the nomination, there will be a repeat of the 1968 convention.

Hillary knows that her best shot at this point is to be able to run again in 2012 against McCain, so she's trying to damage Obama as much as possible.

By the way, weren't you an Obama supporter, who said that you expected him to lose by 5-10 points in Pennsylvania, and if he lost by more than that you'd then think he was somehow unable to win in November? Did you see that he lost by 9.2%?
