FRIDAY -- DU'ers calling for Obama, daily check in thread!

1. I have really great news!
I did all 25 - left a lot of messages, but the few I got were ALL for Obama,





... annnnnnd





I got a volunteer for the campaign! He's very excited about getting started.

It was awesome!

7. I can't make calls, but am going to Raleigh this weekend
I can't make calls because it hurts my neck (I have a whiplash injury from getting rear-ended a while ago). But I went up to Philly 4 out of the past 6 weekends, spent Monday and Tuesday there, and am most likely going to Raleigh this weekend. Will report back when I get home. Good luck to everyone making calls!

Just as a FYI -- I spend a LOT of time on the phone and the absolute BEST thing I ever did was get a headset. I plug it into my cordless phone and then I just run all over the house and yap up a storm! :) (don't do that with Obama calls, heh, since we need the numbers). Anyhoo, it might make phone in general better for you. :hi:

10. I have a headset
But my mom says it's hard to understand me when I use it. Plus, just doing that much repetitive dialing on my cell phone would be a bad idea. If I had a landline with a speakerphone I might be able to do it. I find canvassing to be more rewarding anyway though...I am lucky to live in DC, where they have an active group of volunteers that coordinate trips to wherever the action is.
