Here's a warning from the crazy cousin in the attic.......

The reason Canada has a Tory government now
is not due to the charisma of Steven Harper
or the general appeal of Conservative 'principles'
whatever they are.

The Tories won in Canada because one candidate,
Paul Martin, thought it was his turn to govern and
decided to declare a civil war within his own party
to satisfy his ambition. Now Martin is a distant and
embarrassing memory.

His vanity gave us Harper and his pathetic Liberal
replacement, Stéphane Dion.

Be warned America Unity Through Compromise beats defeat
by a country mile.

1. Good advice. Will you be having another election soon?
If McCain wins, I might be your new neighbor.:hi:

3. It's doubtful and with Dion as Lib leader it would be a disaster. Harper

is not well liked in Quebec but Dion is viewed as
a Liberal Party policy wonk be Quebecers and is
an anti-separatist protege of Martin.

Right now Quebec controls parliament by its
ability to to say no to the Tories and the Libs.

It's a stalemate until the Tories do something
that provokes a non-confidence vote. I think
we're stuck with Harper for three more years.

5. Then again, Canada hasn't been suffering under criminal right-wing rule for the last eight years.

6. We had the Melloney government from 1984-93. Remember the

'Shamrock Summit' when both those retards sung
'When Irish Eyes are Smiling', Melloney turned
a blind eye to the Reagan criminal enterprise
and their rape of Central America while saying
A-OK to NAFTA.

We have suffered Right Wing Hell before and
are now once again. The only question is when
the Tories will outlive their welcome again.
