Her Hillaryness told defecting donor, "Too bad for you, because I'm going to win."
Funny Eleanor Clift column in Newsweek showing Tracy Flick at her most entitled. Oh, and that whole unity thing forget it:

Notables who abandoned her for Obama will get the Big Chill. "He's dead to us," a Clinton aide was quoted saying of John Kerry, who along with Ted Kennedy was turned off by the perception of race baiting that led up to the South Carolina primary. A major donor, conflicted between the two candidates and apologetic over his backing of Obama, found Hillary less than sympathetic. "Too bad for you, because I'm going to win," she snapped.

Worth reading the whole thing; Clift doesn't rule Hillary out, but the fallout from an unlikely victory would be theatrically and destructively vengeful.

7. Ouch.
I've seen bad pix of Hillary before, but that one is the worst.

Is that guilt I see in her face? For IWR, cluster bombs, etc?

37. Yeah, that's the roughest pic I've ever seen of her ...
... to the point of causing me to wonder if it's been photoshopped. (Though, to be fair, some of the better pics *have* been photoshopped.) That pic reminds me of the mom from the movie Brazil.

31. Well,
I guess she'll be looking like that after four years in the White House.

Perhaps Hillary should go to Teresa Heinz Kerry's botox doctor.

crow on the menu for the next few decades or for life.

Those who get the big chill from the clintons are the ones who can wear it as a badge of Honor. Those who shill with their clinton style lies can go down in infamy and good riddance.

20. I don't know this kind of stuff scares me..."because I'm going to win" how
does she know this..or think she knows this..and the way the media has turned of Obama..you know the clinton's know some very powerful people on both sides of the isle..I think that could there be a fix in..the corporation that run this country want either mc cain (preferred) or hillary..I would hope if this happened that people would get out and fight..but we saw how that worked in 2000, I would hope things would be different in 2008..

29. Did anyone see the interview with Clinton early in the campaign
when she was asked how she'd handle it if she didn't win? And she answered, "I will win." Not "I'm going to try my best to win" or "I hope I do win" but I WILL win. It struck me as arrogant.

ballot blank.

I'll vote for the down ticket.

Lord knows they'll need my support more than that harridan if she steals the nomination.

28. Hillary will never be president. She'll never be the Democratic nominee, either.
Wanting it doesn't matter. She's lost and if she runs again, she'll lose worse than this time, since by 2012 or 2016, many of her voters will have make their maker. Every year, her constituency gets smaller, and it's not a majority of Democrats already.

Only in her delusional mind is she still a contender.

Edited on Sun Apr-27-08 06:36 AM by sparosnare
She made a pact with Bill to help him and then he would help her (and endured much heartache because of it); spent years building a political machine that would give her certain victory; and now it's all slipping away before her because of a nobody. Too bad she has to be so vindictive about it and just accept that things don't always work out the way they're planned. That's life.

I can just imagine when Hillary's alone, she stands in the middle of her hotel room with clenched fists screaming "It's not fair! It's not fair!"

38. It's sad, but to be honest, she doesn't have anymore of a claim on the presidency than anyone else
Arguably, she's only where she is because of nepotism.

Say what you want about Obama but he's in that position because of him and him alone. He wasn't riding on his spouse's coattails (and everytime Hillary talks about how great the ninties where, that's exactly what she's doing) .
