Obama supporters--let's wave to each other from under the bus!
Edited on Sat Apr-26-08 04:50 PM by TwoSparkles
So, now--it's half of the Democratic party that Hillary is throwing under the bus--by
lying about Obama supporters and spinning half-baked nonsense against us--in order to
score a few political points for herself.

Hillary continues her push for debates, and on CNN today, she was shown in Indiana saying this
about Obama supporters, "You know, after the last debate in Philadelphia, Senator Obama's
supporters complained a little bit about the tough questions, and you know--tough questions
in a debate are nothing compared to the tough questions you get asked when you are President,
and you have to answer them and make tough decisions. And they complained about the moderator
asking tough questions."

Excuse me, Hillary. We never complained about "tough" questions. In fact, we were disgusted
that Obama was not asked the tough questions, but instead--was asked about flag pins.

Obama supporters never asserted that the questions were "tough." That is a lie. But you know
that.

Obama supporters were outraged that the questions were infantile, hollow and a whole lot of drivel.
One usually has to pass by a grade-school sandbox, to hear such malarkey.

We welcome "tough." We wish the questions would have been less fluff and more "tough." We
wanted substance, and a healthy, robust, back-and-forth on the issues that affect our lives--health-care,
our Constitutional Rights, the erosion of our democracy, the Iraq war, the closing of Guantanamo,
the mortgage crisis, rising inflation, the high cost of college tuition, the falling value of
the US dollar and the soaring Federal deficits.

We're chomping at the bit for "tough questions." We were upset that it took 50 minutes for any
issue of any substance to be broached.

So I guess half of the Democratic-party voters are chattel, and objects to be mis-characterized
and lied about--in Hillary Clinton's world. She's suggesting that we were whining about the questions
being hard, when the exact opposite is true.

Hillary just threw all of us under the bus--and lied about our basic arguments. In order to
position all of us as a bunch of whiny malcontents--she lies about what we think. In fact, she
asserts the exact opposite of what we said repeatedly.

Due to Hillary's dishonesty and her obvious disrespect for Obama supporters--I do hope that Obama
continues to rebuff her suggestion for a twenty-second debate.

These two candidates aren't even speaking the same language. Why go head-to-head with Hillary,
a manipulator who will throw his supporters under the bus and lie about them? Obama doesn't
need to get in the snake pit. He needs to spend his time talking with voters and answering
questions--and serving the people--instead of kow towing to a dishonest candidate running a PT
Barnum campaign--who is probably only looking to snatch up free air time anyway, due to her campaign being
nearly bankrupt.

3. I am so done with Hillary "I never dreamed I'd run for office". LOL
She said that in Indiana today as she was trying to portray herself as coming from a blue collar family. I just about died laughing.

I would like Hillary to know I will actively work to make sure she loses her senate seat. The Clintons are a destructive force in the Democratic Party and need to be knocked down off their pedestal. I want to do everything I can to make sure Hillary doesn't come back in 4 years to do this crap all over again.

6. They are
The "old" style of politics, the kind of politics that have sickened the American people. We need change, a big change, not the same old crap, the same old lobbyists buying votes, the same old lies, the same old mud slinging, and the same old country ran by "corporate" big shots who buy the politicians off!

Sorry, but Hillary and Bill are the same old thing, we need a real change!

5. Hillary Clinton is an embarrassment
To the American people and to herself. I don't know that woman even can look at herself in the mirror after telling all the lies she does on a daily basis.

14. Aren't The "They " She Speaks of "Us"?
I don't recall a democrat dissing democrats as much as Hillary does. If by some slim change she got the nomination, she's gonna have to work real hard to get the "they's" she's been mocking so much on the campaign trail, back on her side.

28. She hit that talking point four times in one sentence.
She has one trick and that's pimping her corporate PR lies. It's annoying to hear them from her, more annoying to hear them from the media echo chamber, but after all is said and done, it's just another RW talking point.

29. So is the bus moving or not? I've never gotten that part of the metaphor.
If it's moving, we can just duck and it will go on its way and we can be glad it's gone.

If it's parked, arent' there enough of us under here to tip it over?

:hi:
