1. I hope Pawlenty is the GOP Veep candidate
pictures of Johnny Mac hugging George the hated with a fallen interstate bridge in the background would tell the story of the GOP.

3. Timmy the Tool wants that VP job so bad he can taste it,
which is why he's been living in McCain's pants for the past year. Obviously he didn't anticipate the bridge collapse (although maybe he should have, considering how he's stiffed the state agencies because the Taxpayer's League is living in HIS pants), but there it is, as a lovely backdrop for the convention. If McCain picks him and -- God help us -- wins in November, the only up-side I can think of is that Timmy will get his sorry ass out of Minnesota. Don't be misled by his nice smile and folksy demeanor. The guy sucks donkey balls.

4. Yah Tim Pawlenty is responsible for the decreasing quality of life in Minnesota.
The roads/bridges aroung Minneapolis are a disgrace. I grit my teeth every time I go across the Misissippi.

Not to mention the huge swaths of foreclosures around the State.

Honorable mention is WIlliam McGuire and United Healths salaries and benefits that are an embarassment, given the source of their wealth.

Oh and there seems to be a campaign on right wing radio here to promote violence against protestors to the RNC convention.

What a disgrace it all is. The list is long, and McCain's going to lose in a landslide here.

7. so there's a 5-1 difference between Gore and Clinton
and a little more than 5-1 Clinton to Obama. Gore is closer to Clinton than Clinton is to Obama
