A dose of reality
Perhaps it is time for the masses to look at some very difficult images again. Only this time look at them with a different perspective. Remember the faces on the news when they announce another fallen soldier... ingrain that image into your mind... with the face of your son, daughter, neighbor, or friend on them. Pull up the Katrina photos... imagine you lived in NO. Imagine waiting on the rooftop for help that didn't come. Imagine actually dying from hunger while you watched dead bodies drift by. Imagine waiting on help that didn't come until you saw your child take their last breath.

Close your eyes again and imagine getting a notice to vacate the home your family resides in. Imagine not having anywhere to turn. Imagine going to bed hungry at night only to wake up the next day with the only hope of a meal coming from scraps of food in a dumpster. Imagine explaining to your children why you cannot take them to a dentist for a toothache. Imagine your child being sick but you have no money to pay for a Doctor. Imagine ignoring your chest pains when you know it is probably an oncoming heart attack but you have no funds to pay medical bills because you spent your last cent on food for your family.

Imagine not having a job, imagine living on $89 per month in food stamps. Keep your eyes closed for a while and imagine yourselves being in the same shape as most Americans will be if McCain wins the election.

Don't let this long primary keep you from losing focus of the real problems here in America. Not for one second. Stay focused and remember each time you bicker back and forth about your candidate you could be contributing to keeping the real issues in the background. They aren't going away and they aren't going to be solved with a McCain Presidency. They will only worsen. It is time we pull together and fight the real enemy, John McCain.
