7. Out of curiosity, had you originally believed the scary black preacher hype?
I had gone over to youtube and listened to the soundbites in the full context of his sermons, so I knew he was being caricatured by the media. But I know a lot of people didn't know anymore than the soundbites.

So, if you don't mind sharing, what did you think before and after seeing him speak tonight.

16. No. I didn't believe the scary hype. I saw the truth of what he was
saying. I agreed with him on so many levels.
All throughout his speech today, I was crying my
eyes out. He moved me like I haven't been moved
in 30 years. This man will surpass Martin Luther King.
I am so blown away, my meager words can't express it.

This man is a sage.. a living genius. If were living
back in Chicago, I would have attended his church.
I will most definitely buy his book.

28. In her heart of hearts, I think Hillary believes in the majority of what Wright has articulated.
Especially with respect to the education and pedagogy utilized with our young children of color.

A very long time ago, Sen. Clinton described the merits of using the Project Approach because of the very reasons Rev. Wright articulated tonight.

30. Your perspicacity is admirably consistent...
Have you ever considered backing a candidate who wasn't essentially a dare?

Big deal. The legislature will still continue to trend left for awhile regardless how many 40 year-old nazis get put on the Supreme Court by smilin' John.

Then again, ANYTHING can happen this year...

32. I loved his sharing his scholarship with us -- the linguist's perspective
He is a fabulous orator. I liked the way he showed us, as well as telling us, that we must see one another and ourselves as different but not deficient. Challenged us to understand one another and said a change would come if we gave it a try.

37. You took the words right out of my mouth. He caused a phase shift in MY thinking.
My new motto is definitely go to be: "Different does NOT mean deficient."

He really cracked me up when he was talking about today's
education as being "Reading, Writing, and Ritalin."
I choked on my dinner when he said that.

His comments on education could change the way America teaches
today's kids.
