Is there ANY doubt that the MSM is shilling HARD for the GOP?
They're not even hiding it anymore. Out ALL of the issues we could be talking about in this election - the recession we're in right now, the even scarier economic collapse in the near future, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the mortgage crisis, the war crimes of the Bush administration, the health care crisis, gas prices and our dependence on foreign oil, and climate change - here we are talking about

THE REVEREND WRIGHT!!!

You would THINK he was running for president. The GOP has effectively played the Democratic party like a fiddle. They have managed, with the help of the Clinton campaign (duh! They just don't learn!) to turn this entire election AWAY from the issues, but to tangential things that have no bearing on the security and economical security of Americans. This ONLY works for Republicans. Democrats win on the issues, so why aren't the issues being discussed in the MSM? They KNOW that the Republicans will lose on the issues, so it is THEIR job to turn this election away from that and FORCE people to focus on this dumb crap.

And in doing so, John McLame gets OPENLY praised in the media. They dismiss any and every criticism of him that pops up. They have downplayed the fact that he has been using his wife's jet for campaign purposes for free when that is clearly not within the spirit of the reform he put through. They haven't covered the fact that he is in violation of campaign fundraising laws. They haven't even investigated anything regarding this man, yet, they have investigated everything Obama has said and who he knows. It is ridiculous.

Even Bush, with the lowest approval ratings of any president, is not even talked about. Who does that help? NOT the Democrats, that's for sure.

The MSM is gearing up to basically annihilate the Democratic party in the media. They are doing so with Obama right now. I SHUDDER to think what they will do to Clinton if she manages to get the nomination.

1. No doubt, the Corporate M$M is an enemy to Health and Welfare of The Average American.
The M$M is MOSTLY treasonous and f**king evil ... 100% owned my Multi-National MEGA-Corporations.

2. Repukes can't win on any of the issues.
So they get their corporate media pals to discuss anything but the issues. It is the only way McSame has a chance in hell of getting elected. That and getting Obama and Hillary supporters so mad at each other that they vote for him, instead of the opponent Democratic candidate.

It is their only strategy.

4. MSM is completely ignoring McBush and his profound lack of knowledge

on the economy. They call his confusion of the parties in the mess that is Iraq a "senior" moment and that's supposed to make us feel good. McCain violates campaign finance laws, doesn't release the wife's taxes . . . crickets. Nothing.

Oops - editing to fix my own senior moment. McCain doesn't release his wife's taxes, etc. I'm 13 years younger than McCain and just mixed up the candidates' names - that's why the presidency should be for the younger and sharper.

11. Exactly. They always have an excuse for McCain.
They make things seem as if they aren't that important. The wife's taxes weren't even an issue. No one even blinked any eye. No one even went into any real analysis regarding that. He gets a pass. Put the shoe on the other foot and just imagine the MSM's reaction to it. For god's sake, at the last debate, they spent an HOUR on "bitter", "sniper fire", "ayers", "Rev. Wright", etc. The moderators were openly HOSTILE. Think of how they will be when the Democrat is going up against the Republican in a debate. Madness.

12. Yes. These people refused to accurately report that we are and have been
in a recession. I actually heard some guy on CNN yesterday say that it is important that we're in a recession and that things are actually good because the dollar is low, therefore we export more.

WTF?

6. Watching the news this morning....
-Nothing on Iraq

-Nothing on the collapsing economy

-Nothing on the 4,000 dead US soldiers

-Nothing on the hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis

-Nothing on the millions of displaced Iraqis

-Nothing about our coming war with Iran

The American people aren't being served well by the media at all. The MSM constantly dumbs-down the news and takes quotes out of context in a constant effort to influence the American electorate. They're damn good at what they do. They don't want Americans to focus on Iraq, the economy, or health care. They want Americans distracted and thinking about flag pins, pastors and 60's radicals :grr:

7. They are out to destroy Obama first of all. Once that's done, they'll move on to Clinton.
The sad thing is that it's working- big time. Check the CNN poll on Wright- double the number say he was decisive. Listen to MSNBC - even Mica- who is usually pretty fair about these things (and she is a Democrat), is spinning this against Obama. Very sad, indeed.

10. Then again
... who delivers the polls? The same M$M. They make it all up then say it's true.
Rev. Wright? Guess what, nobody cares.

13. We must face the reality that McCain has the MSM in his back pocket.
He has obviously fooled these fools into thinking he is some kind of Maverick or something. It boggles my MIND how these people can defend Bush, the GOP, and McLame. It is just crazy. Yes, they are out to destroy the Democrats chances this fall.

The Corporate Media will deliver the candidate THEY want, and the candidate that will benefit THEM the most--and as for the American people(quoting Hillary)---"screw 'em"

9. I wish that Obama or Clinton
Edited on Mon Apr-28-08 06:55 AM by ErinBerin84
could do a nice ad of McCain and Bush, eating cake during Hurricane Katrina, "built it up, tear it down, whatever". Something strong to get publicity by the MSM. But I feel like the MSM would be like "This is RISKY...because John McCain has been in New Orleans helping. Ask the governor!"

As much as I dislike Clinton, I know that if she is the nominee, the media's agenda against whoever the democratic nominee is will be enough to get me to vote for her.

This reminds me of Dave Chapelle on Inside the Actors studio (even though he was talking about art and corporate interest).."You are students, so you are idealistic. You don't know about corporate interest yet. Well, be prepared to have your hearts broookkkkeeennnn."

criticizing McCain would mean the reporters being uninvited to all of those special McCain "media BBQs". Or maybe they want free Cindy McCain beer.
