Well, If Obama loses the nomination now, will you blame Hillary or
Rev. Wright? I know many are hating the fact that Wright just snatched a possible vilification talking point from the Hillary haters. What a dilemma!

1. Why would Rev. Wright cost Obama the nomination?
Rev. Wright is talking not Obama. Frankly, much of what Wright says is true and more power to him. Obama is his own person and so is Rev. Wright. I know how Hillary supporters are hoping that what Wright says can be used against Obama so she can sneak in for the nomination, but it won't happen.

21. To be fair, bw, CNN did not replay the speech 82 times for nothing.

'Obama is his own person and so is Rev. Wright.'

Very true. But the media is inextricably tying them together at the hip. And Wright is doing Obama no favors by keeping up the attention.

Blame
I would blame Rush Limbaugh, the guy who seems to be, single handedly and publicly, urging people toward destroying the foundation of our government. I think the man should be off the air and in jail.

2. HILLARY. no question.
she lied about NAFTA pre-Ohio.
she lied about coke dealing
she lied about Wright
she lied about his being a muslim
she lied about anything that came to mind to her.

actually, it makes no difference whether she lied explicitly, or did so through her minions.

4. The only way for Obama to lose the nomination
IS for the SDs to arbitrarily hand it to HRC. If they do that we lose the White House.

31. Blind Optimism
Hillary has pretty much lost the black vote and at the rate she's going she will not get it back - they will stay home. If she is anointed queen of the Democratic party - -she will also lose the support of many independents and young voters energized by the Obama campaign. What's left will not be enough for her to beat McCain - especially after the Reich wing gets done with her and Bill. No one has kitchen sunk her yet - the pubbies will gleefully rip her apart in October and its hello four more years...

They're always so insightful and though provoking. Some people think they illustrate a posters juvenile mentality and hateful tendencies. Not me though, I just love em.

Carry on.

6. HILLARY!!! Along with the fascist media and the GOP.
All Wright did was tell the truth.

Hillary's the one acting like a right-wing fearmonger, and the media and GOP are eating it up and enabling her.

12. I will blame Hillary and the Media then Bill then the Rendell machine and then the Ohio machine and
then the Republicans. Wright gets no blame what so ever because they are denigrating a man without first understanding that America has been at the helm of some really horrible acts. Iraq. Katrina. The Atom Bomb. Regime changes. Slavery. Japanese Internment camps. And the list goes on. America has done some great things but just because a man points out what you should truly be sorry for doesn't mean "HE" should be tarred and feathered. Obama deserves to be the president. He played by the rules and here is a case where people who don't play by the rules mucking the process up to steal this election from the candidate who will transform this country if he has the opportunity to do so.

15. here is the more appropriate question... Did you like how Bush "won"?
Did you call that winning on his merits? Or do you call it theft when Bush does it but winning when it looks like stealing under the Democratic tent?

Hillary for not knowing when to quit.

America for not being mature enough to address the demons that Rev Wright talks about and falling for the stupid "whos the most patriotic" bullshit.

17. Hillary and her minions will dig up and find the smallest spark or ember
that might possibly hurt Obama and blow on it and fuel it in the hope that it will flame him out. It doesn't matter if it would damage him in the GE, the point of her scorched earth mission is to win the nomination at any price. That's all that matters to her. The Republicans couldn't do a better job, except they will on Hillary.
