The Ackerman ballroom, packed to the gills, there to hear Howard Fineman, Amy Goodman, Hugh Hewitt and Tom Hayden discuss defining American character. The "obliterate" thing was mentioned in passing, and the crowd went nuts (booing, hissing). Overall, a very anti-Hillary crowd, which I found very interesting.

about Israel and it caused international outrage. (There was some dispute over the translation but that apparently ended up favoring the "obliterate" meaning.) In fact Ahmadinejad's "obliterate" remark was used again Sunday night by Bob Simon in his 60 Minutes piece about the Israeli Air Force.

Was she sending a counterpunch at Ahmadinejad? Is that the level she is on when it comes to diplomacy? Exchanging threats and inciting conflict? Is that why she voted for the Kyl-Lieberman Amendment?

You'll have to ask the corporate media why they CHOSE to ignore it when Hillary said it.
