Why Aren't Recommended Threads Here Posted On "Greatest Page"?

I've read many threads here with five or more recommendations for the "Greatest Page" but haven't seen any of them posted on that page.

Am I looking in the wrong place or are recommended posts on this discussion board not being placed on the "Greatest Page"?

2. Maybe they cut that crap out so there would be less "Lord of the Flies" recommending

of vicious, partisan threads that make the community as a whole look like a bunch of mouth-breathing jerks?

You know the threads-- They go something like:

(CANDIDATE NAME) is a big, fat (INSULT OF CHOICE) and (FILL IN OUTRAGEOUS FALSEHOOD). Who's WITH ME? Recommend it up if you are! Ha ha ha!!!! (SNARKY GRAPHIC COPIED FROM FREE REPUBLIC FOLLOWS).

This is responded to by posts that say "Yeah!" and "You got it!" and "(GRATUITOUS PERSONAL INSULT AGAINST SAID CANDIDATE)" that go on and on forever, making the DU forum appear to full of people who not only are vicious and stupid, but have lost their fucking minds.
