This ain't a goodbye post. I hate those, like I'm sure you all do. I'm just taking a break for a while. It's almost summer and I'm at my wits end dealing with some of the crap here. Many Obama supporters have gone soft and the bitching back and forth really is not productive in any way. So I'll be back, maybe when this thing wraps up or when I feel I'm at a level where I can tolerate this stuff.

This break is not only from DU, but media and this election in general. I'm not about to waste my summer away fretting over something I have no control over. It's a good move on my part, because I'm officially spent. I've never been this exhausted over politics in all my life and if it weren't for my total love for it, I would've walked away long ago. So I either take a break or get to the point where I say screw it all and move on from politics and elections for the rest of my life. I don't want that to happen, which is why a break is the best answer.

I'll be back one day and hopefully a lot happier. Smell ya later guys, look forward to a healthier and more sane discussion when I return.
