You can't say that we didn't warn you
Yes.

We told you so.

Over and over and over again.

But you wouldn't listen.

It's not too late. If you throw your support behind Hillary now and stop listening to RW talking points about how awful she is, you can actually be a happy camper in Jan 2009!

Go Hillary!

66. it's not just anger. it's disgust that she thinks this is owed to her.
it's embarrassment at what she has done to our Party

it's pity for those following her blindly

it's much deeper and wider than anger.

when Hillary is cast back into the Senate, she will be an outsider. the leaders there have rejected her and her tactics.
she will likely never be elected again.

13. Honestly, right now, I'm not even sure I'd be that happy in November if she won
Not saying I wouldn't vote for her, but I can't say I'd be overjoyed if she won. In fact, I'd be lying if I said a part of me wouldn't be hoping she'd lose so Obama would get another chance in 4 years. I guess if she's the nominee I'll do what she did with the banking bill...vote for her, but hope she doesn't pass.

For right now, I'm sticking with Obama. But thanks for the offer.

19. I admit, I'm biased
I have really grown to like Hillary as this campaign progressed.

I honestly and truly believe that she has learned from the adversity that she has suffered at the hands of the media and some would say at the hands of her poorly run campaign.

But she has learned. She has grown and she is a much better candidate for having had this scare from Obama.

Don't forget - 6 months ago, she was inevitable.

Then she almost lost it.

And she never gave up.

She's a fighter. And that is what your country needs right now.

61. Glad you're enthusiastic about Hillary
I will try to be if she is the nominee, but I spent 3 months when I worked at EMILY's List last year trying to convince myself to support her for the nomination and I was having a really hard time. The prospect of a woman president excites me, but her gender is pretty much the only thing that would make me even remotely excited about her. But like I said, if she gets the nomination I will vote for her, and try to get enthused.

You are a piece of work. There is absolutely no evidence for that, and you know it. But of course you respect this site so little that a little dis-ingenuousness in the service of your candidate is no big deal? Right? Smear...smear....lie....smear...

It amazes me that people like you are so shameless...ut then again pride is one of my great sins. You can embarrass yourself without me as a spectator, as I suspect many here have already done since there is no other response to your tripe.

52. she isn't about pretending to win red states
Obama already did that with the caucuses - that pulled 1% of the electorate...

She is about winning the big states. The swing states.

She's about winning.

And as much as folks would like to move into the light and fluffy post partisan world, it just doesn't exist yet.

It may never exist....

or maybe... after she wins, and she is a heck of a president as I know that she can be, folks will start looking beyond partisan poltics.

57. He husband didn't have that attitude in 1992 and 1996
He was campaigning in Montana, Wyoming, Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Dakota and Indiana. Sure, he didn't win all of those states, but he made George Bush and Bob Dole sweat to win them, which put Clinton at a strategic advantage.

I guess Hillary prefers the Gore/Kerry approach.

92. Blue, the answer is she won't....
And her supporters have reaffirmed that by not giving any indication that she'd bother to run a campaign in states other then those that they deem "countable".

This is one reason why Clinton makes so many people nervous, the "big blue state strategy". What states will she and her campaign write off when the GE begins?

My feeling is that the following states are an example (but not an exhaustive list) of states that could be won:

Colorado (lost in both 2000 and 2004)
Nevada (lost in both 2000 and 2004)
Virginia (lost in both 2000 and 2004)
Missouri (lost in both 2000 and 2004)
New Mexico (Gore won it in 2000, Kerry lost it in 2004)
New Hampshire (Gore lost it in 2000, Kerry won it in 2004)
Wisconsin (Gore and Kerry both won it, but by less then 1%)
Iowa (Gore won it in 2000, Kerry lost it in 2004)

None of these are a lock for Democrats this year, unless a solid campaign is run in those states. Out of the 8 states, Wisconsin is the only one both Gore and Kerry won, but by a very small margin.

After all, that state doesn't "matter". Could we have the delegates then, please?

47. Good grief
Barring the spectacular collapse of Obama's campaign (and no, Wright isn't it, we're talking "dead girl or live boy" here), Obama has already won. Even if the remaining "up-for-grabs" superdelegates split 50-50, he's won.

and hillbots were disgusting not only after Obama started winning but during her whole inevitability period. She's still very unlikely to win the nomination. And SDs know it. Why do you think Senator Bingaman endorsed Obama yesterday? Why do you think a SD from MA endorsed him yesterday?
