1. Richard Nixon?
At least Cheney doesn't sweat (not human, so he can't) and doesn't get a dog to do his dirty work. Close call.

7. 42!
Or something like that! Yeah, but the guy Cheney shot was a Republican, so it doesn't count. Poor Checkers was non-partisan!

4. Were you alive when Agnew was VP
"nattering nabobs of negativity" was his most famous line to defend the Vietnam war.

At least in a parallel universe, Cheney has some logical consistency. Agnew was just a crazy crook.

5. At least he was openly evil. I begrudgingly respect him for it.
As opposed to folks who pretend to be on our side, and then stab us in the back.

But yeah, it doesn't get much worse than Cheney.

6. Aaron Burr, maybe?
Or how 'bout John C. Calhoun?

I hear Schuyler Colfax was a bit of a bastard.

Garret Augustus Hobart was sort of the Dick Cheney of his time.

Oh! Oh! I've got it! Spiro Agnew!

Aw, who am I kidding? Nobody beats Cheney.

8. Andrew Johnson was no prize. And, got worse when he succeeded Lincoln.
He did everything he could to undo the progress made by the ex-slaves after the Civil War.
