Wright NPC Event Organized By Clinton Supporter (Hit Job?)

It seems that someone set Rev. Wright up to take out Barack Obama's knee caps.

Shortly before he rose to deliver his rambling, angry, sarcastic remarks at the National Press Club Monday, Wright sat next to, and chatted with, Barbara Reynolds.

A former editorial board member at USA Today, she runs something called Reynolds News Services and teaches ministry at the Howard University School of Divinity. (She is an ordained minister).

It also turns out that Reynolds - introduced Monday as a member of the National Press Club "who organized" the event - is an enthusiastic Hillary Clinton supporter.

On a blog linked to her Web site- www.reynoldsnews.com- Reynolds said in a February post: "My vote for Hillary in the Maryland primary was my way of saying thank you" to Clinton and her husband for the successes of Bill Clinton's presidency.

Wright has, unquestionably, been caricatured and vilified unfairly. The feeding programs, prison outreach and other social services he has built over more than 30 years are commendable, and his reading of the Judeo-Christian tradition as an epic story of people trying to escape slavery is far more right than wrong - and not something to be caricatured or compressed into a 10-second sound bite.

But Wright should have known - and his friend and ally Reynolds, a media professional, surely knew - that bickering with the press can only harm Wright and, by extension, Obama.

Didn't Wright just announce a book deal? Who's helping him publish it? If Barbara Reynolds organized this event one year ago, is this tied to his book deal? Did she put him up to having his book published, knowing that it could possiably help Clintons campaign?

3. I'm sorry, was Obama not running for office last year?

Did his press savvy friend Barbara Reynolds influence his final decision to go through with the Press Club event? Why did Wright feel the need to go out of his way to to repeat "he's a politician"?

I love it when people use the "tin foil hat" attack when questions are raised about events that were "pre-planned". It shows a lack of foresight in the person lobbing the attack.

I remember getting called a conspiracy nut when I questioned things like the Niger Documents, and the Iraq War, and the Bush family connections to the Pakistani Intelligence, and hence, the Islamic Bomb, the Taliban, and Pipelines, and the instigation of the formation of Al-Qaeda. I'll take my tin foil hat over that dunce cap any day of the week.

Just to add some context as to why I feel that some slimy shit is afoot, didn't Wright just announce a book deal? Now all I want to know is who's helping him publish it?

if this was a deliberate move to 'hurt' obama, does wright know he's being used? does he see it that way? or does it not bother him so much because he may feel that obama should not be so quick to denounce an overwhelming sentiment (in the black community) of disenfranchisement, isolation and awareness of such U.S. manmade tragedies (like the tuskegee experiment) in order to hold on to the support of white voters who don't like to deal with such realities?

i really don't know what i feel in terms of support right now. i don't like hilary and i'm beginning to feel less confident of obama. i don't know if i want him to be the 'first' black president if he isn't even confident enough to acknowledge the black community (up from enslavement in this country) has had a VERY different American experience than the White one and this has led, UNDERSTANDABLY, to very different feelings and views.

My closest AA friend says she feels sure that money was passing hands,
and that Wright has been corrupted.

Remember, the guy let his church buy him a multi million dollar home.
