The Super Delegates are Moving to End This Primary
Edited on Tue Apr-29-08 12:29 PM by berni_mccoy
It's clear given the high frequency of SD endorsements for Obama that the SDs are choosing to end this with NC and IN. The are siding with both the people and the rules and certifying Obama as the nominee. To these SDs: thank you.

Obama Stepping Down

President Barack Obama ends the final day of his historic presidency today. For most Americans, today shall be a bittersweet day, for it ends the term of one of America's most transcending and effective Presidents to date. President Obama spent his last evening at the White House holding a private ceremony for his House staff and Secret Service detail. After a fabulous meal cooked by Mrs. Obama herself, the President enjoyed one of his trademark pickup basketball games with his detail and daughters. The lights at the new outdoor basketball pavillion that replaced the putting green could be seen until the wee hours of the morning. Perhaps Mr. President dreaded that final night's slumber in the Lincoln bedroom (which he insisted on sleeping on for the duration of his presidency) or maybe his daughter's kept making him play HORSE. Asked what he planned on doing now that he has brought peace to the middle east, restored civil liberties, and regained America's honor, the President maintained his humility and simply stated that he was looking forward to a few months relaxation and the completion of the George Bush federal prison next month. President Obama will dedicate the new prison himself, and will take the time to visit with and offer spiritual guidance to George Bush, Dick Cheney, and Karl Rove. All three have come to realize the errors of their ways, and even accepted capital punishment for their crimes. It was only Obama's mercy and empathy that kept these three traitors alive. Today at noon, we shall all say our goodbyes to a man so dear to our hearts, and welcome in our first woman President, Kathleen Sebelius.

34. me too, redqueen, but I will take them as I get them. I had a dream
the other night that I went into an old time store- like one in the old west- and there was a closing out sale going on. I looked at a box of little dolls with blond hair and different colored pant suits and was told I couldn't have them, they were too expensive and out of date. I interpret it that Hillary is going to lose and not to worry about the election, Obama will win. I have odd dreams sometimes and they come true. I am hoping this one is one of those.

17. Maybe the Wright speech and Clinton's seemingly disinterest in denouncing
the Republican racist attacks on Obama have pushed the SDs over the edge. They have now realized, finally, that Sen. Clinton doesn't give a rat's ass about the Democratic party, the voters, or this country. And the SDs have had enough.

On Saturday, they each got one.

On Monday, Obama got two, but one had actually endorsed "some time ago."

Today, they each got two.

Carry on.

CLINTON (3): John Tanner (TN Rep), Kathy Sullivan (NH add on), Mike Easley (NC GOV).

In the past, the RNC has funded independent initiatives that would undermine the Dem. nominee. Nader comes to mind, but so do other candidates and 527's.

43. No it would be seen as influencing the vote
Just as assuredly as if they overturned it after the voting. I think the SDs are being mindful that they don't want to be see as deciding the thing. Which in the long run is bad for Hillary.

Of course Hillary's Gang of 200 had no problem with it before the voting started, but that's another story....

Notice how a lot of people who never experienced war are for it, or so easily convinced it is an appropriate solution?

There are, however, a few who did experience war and support more of it. They are called "insane" people.
