How many former Obama supporters have switched to Clinton?
Have enough changed sides, particularly in the states with remaining primaries, to give her a sweep of pledged delegates now? Or do the Clinton supporters still expect the super-delegates to override the pledged delegates regardless of this will do to the party?

3. It seems like the current has only been flowing one way in this election...
From Clinton to Obama... Hence her increasingly negative (and losing) campaign. And the people who go for neither candidate are ones who are so disgusted they don't even want to vote, or they just opt to go 3rd party.

12. No SDs have switched Obama to Clinton
a number of Clinton SDs have indicated that they will vote for the leader of the pledged delegates and would therefore switch.

A rational assessment of the facts would lead anybody to conclude that she was pretty much shut out in February. Everything that's happened since then has basically been Hillary making a lot of noise.

7. Not a changer here.
I could never understand polls that show support going up and down. Especially the one about bush's approval ratings. Even after 9/11 when bush's rating was near 90%, I still hated him for Florida. Make up your mind based on research and fact-checking and stick with it.

She needs 70% in every single remaining primary just to tie Obama's pledged delegate count. That's a 40 point lead, which is simply not going to happen.

That is why they were CREATED.

Why can't BHO supporters understand this very simple concept?

Then Hillary went way negative. Then there was only one candidate that had a chance when that happened. Obama. He leaves some to be desired, but he is way better than the alternatives.

34. A candidate, any candidate
has the ability to mislead and corrupt their followers and supporters, to abuse their trust, and more generally move them in the wrong direction. It is more the responsibility of HRC and Bill than of their followers or even hirelings for destructive warp that has been inserted into the process. Sure it is "hard-nosed" politics. It was never structured to be that of course when HRC was the presumptive heir. More than the rules have been bent or the necessary goal of party unity changed. The very moment of crisis and need has been thrown under the bus and well-meaning followers have behaved like Bush's magic 20% flock of the damned in fanatically adhering to that leadership.

A small warp can produce a gigantic miss, a terrible multiplication of error. The heat and rough and tumble of primaries, especially unplanned twilight struggles such as this in a banner Dem year, are always rational parts of the equation. Error usually results in loss and correction and nomination of one person. this error however is assertively pushing toward destruction of us all. it is only sensible to point that out though it won't help the honest supporters corrupted by corrupt hope in a powerful, defeated yet unbowed campaign.

I can only surmise in pealing back the onion of responsibility(we were only following Hillary) that perhaps it is a fatal lover's flaw like Antony and Cleopatra that is keeping that pair from more effective, less raging strategies and reality. Bill cannot- as he has mediated so well with others- even think about telling her the facts. So instead of facing them himself he goes ballistic and brings out his very worst. Nor would Hillary brook any calming or positive advice to play defeat into something positive for all. Something in the chemistry between the two, perhaps, has crossed the dysfunctional line into the tragic. The fate of the entire world should not depend on this destructively twinned judgment. In Antony's case only the dominance of the western Roman Empire was set to change the course of history forever. In our case it is literally life, liberty and death for everyone.

And there is no one above them to call them on the carpet as they scoop up more Convention clout that increasingly looks crazy and dangerous without a rational reference as a nomination utility. Thousands of loyalists, patriots and professionals died for the relational dysfunctions of Antony and Cleopatra. Should we be surprised to see the victims lining up for the new game though the world burns beneath their feet?
